Y/n's POV

When lunch break started, I roamed around the school to look for the Arts Club Room. When I found it, I knocked on the door before hearing someone say 'come in'.

I twisted the doorknob to open the door and the voice earlier came from none other than Jeon Jungkook

I bowed to him and he smiled at me

"The other members are just eating lunch, why won't you sit over there? Sorry if the room is kinda messy, we're still not finished making our paintings for the School's Foundation Day which includes every club to compete and gain more people" He explain and I nodded

"Miss Y/n, if you don't mind. Can I ask you a question?" He asked me and I nodded again

"How come you never spoke?"

I got my pencil and notebook and then wrote down what I had to write to him

'It's a very sensitive question but...I've been deaf since I was born making me technically mute'    

"Oh, I'm very sorry I asked that" He scratched his nape and I shook my head

'No, it's fine' I wrote down

Before he got a chance to speak again, some students barged in the room

"Oh guys, this is Kim Y/n, she'll be joining the Arts Club from now on. Please take care of her" He said and they all smiled at me when I bowed

I looked at Jungkook because I can sense that he wants to tell them that I'm mute but he needs my permission. I nodded at him

"And also....She's deaf and mute" He told them and they all looked at me surprise

Jungkook cut them off when he knocked on the table

"Anyways, you all know what to do when there is a new member" He told them and they nodded

"Hi! I'm Bae Irene, I hope we can be friends" The girl told me and smiled at me

"Hi, I'm Do Kyungsoo, I hope we can be friends" A squishy owl-looking-but-cute boy told me

"Ayo! Hiiii~ I'm Lalisa Manoban, I hope we can be friends!" Another girl told me and showed me her brightest smile

"Nice to meet you hoobae, I'm Mark Lee, I hope we can be friends in the future" A boy told me...He looks like he's the youngest in this club

"Annyeonghaseyo~ I'm Kim Dahyun but you can call me Dahyun. I hope we can be friends." Another cute girl told me

"Hai~ I'm Kim Yugyeom, but you can call me yuggie or Yugyeom. I hope we can be friends" A tall boy with baby-like features told me

"Y/n, you may take a seat next to Yugyeom's since that's the only available seat left" Jungkook told me and I nodded

"Oh, Y/n, just to inform you. Before you can do what we are currently doing. you need to show us one sketch of yours that you will draw here and one painting you have to paint here..Then after that, you can do what the others are doing. Good luck!" Jungkook told me and smiled

The others cheered for me saying that I can do it and gave me tips and techniques.

This school isn't too bad after all
