Alex and Madlyn

The school bell let out. Alex was dressed in black jeans, red polo, with black and white Osiris sneakers. He grabbed his homework and didnt run this time. He walked out the door to meet Madlyn at the end of the side walk with her friends. But he didnt see her friends, he saw Madlyn sitting on the curb crying. He ran over to Madlyn and cradled her in his arms. She didn't move. But when she saw who it was she jumped up and screamed "Why would you do that! Your not for me! No one is for me! All I am is gum on the sidewalk. Now leave me alone you nerd and never talk to me again!!!" Alex was hurt. but he said what he needed to and ran off "Meet me at the pond, love".

He ran, and ran, and ran. He ran through water, mud, trees, grasses, bushes, and up and down hills. Finally he came to a old kids tree house. The ladder was broke so he threw his bag up in the tree house and started climbing the tree. his clothes were heavy and damp when he tooked the finally step he slipped cut his hand and fell down the tree. Alex was knocked out.

*3 Days Later*

Alex finally woke up. He had been in a coma for three days. But when he felt pain in his hand he looked at it and it was bandaged. Alex did not wrap it. "Hello?" Alex whispered. No answer. He got up and found his bag already on the ground. When he stood he felt a excruciating pain in his left leg and right side. He got up and limped to his bag and got out his phone. 47 missed calls 128 new messages. Alex didnt know he was out that long so was curious about all the missed calls and messages. The pond wasnt far from where he was, and there was a wood table, bench, chairs, and couch like seat. so he could rest there. When he got there he saw a figure sitting on the bench. He sat down beside the figure. When he went to look at the figure it was Madlyn. She was bruised and beaten!? How?! What?! Why?! "Im so sorry Alex, I was such a jerk... but you said to meet you at the pond.." Alex is still wondering about the bruises. Madlyn hands Alex a note...

Alex,

I'm so sorry I was such a snotty, stuck up, mean, jerk. I was just being mean to impress my friends. the truth is your not a mistake. Your not a dork. You are for me. I see you staring at me and it gives me butterflies. I love how you never gave up on me. Alex, I'm falling for you. Actually no. I have fallen for you and I've fell hard. Alex I love you so much and I would never do anything to hurt you.

Sitting there shocked, Alex didn't feel the body next to him. He hears fast paced footsteps. Madlyn is running away! Alex gets up hurting his leg and side even more and starts running for her. He comes to a cliff and falls backwards. He cries out in pain "Madlyn!". Madlyn hears him and stops running she faintly she's him. She starts running towards him. when Madlyn gets to Alex, Alex is breathing way to heavily. She helps Alex stand up and they go to the rarely huge tree house.

Madlyn grabs Alex's stuff and helps him climb up the tree. Madlyn rips her shirt making a new bandage for Alex's hand. Madlyn also props Alex's leg on his book bag. "What happened to you? who did that!?" Alex asked all raged. " Well my father...." Madlyn trails off.
