Chapter 3

Mal's POV

I am a little nervous to tell Evie that I have feelings for her. But I think thst it would be alright.

Enters the room

"Hi E, I need to talk to you" I said
"Me too M, I also need to talk to you" Evie replied.
[At the same time]
"I have feelings for you!"
"Oh! We have feeling for each other?!" I said
"Omg what a coincidence" Evie replied
"So when did you start to have feelings for me?" I asked
"It started like 2 days ago" Evie answered
"Omg mine also started 2 days ago!" I answered
"Hahaha maybe we're really meant to be" Evie said
"Haha I love you E. But how do I tell Ben that I love you?" I asked
"Um let's just tell him tomorrow" Evie answered
"Ok. *sigh* I'm glad that I let out my feelings for you" I said
"Me too. Let's go eat?" Evie invited me to eat.
"Sure. Come on" I said

Evie's POV

While eating

"Mal, can you help me with my homework?" I asked
"Sure. What's it about?" Mal asked
"Chemistry" I answered
"Oh chemistry? E you know that I'm not good at chemistry" Mal said
"Yeah I know but I thought you could help me with magic" I said
"How? My spellbook isn't even with me. You told me to donate it to the museum along with your mirror" Mal said
"Oh right. I forgot. Anyway, I only know that I'm going to have an F in my grade again" I said
"Oh come on E, you definitely know that I'm not good at chemistry. I'm only good at art" Mal explained
*sighs*"I know. Forget about it. Let's go to our room" I said grabbing her hand

At the dorm room

"Look, if you don't help me I... I..." I said while breathing heavily
"What's the matter E?" Mal asked
"I... can't breathe properly since this morning" I explained
"Oh E, are you alright?" Mal asked
"I can't breathe..." The last thing I knew was that I passed out.

Mal's POV

While at the clinic

"E, E, are you okay?" I asked Evie
"M? Are you there?" Evie said
"Yes bub I'm here. Are you okay?" I asked
"I still can't breathe properly" Evie said
"Um Evie the doctor said that you have pneumonia. One of your lungs has been infected by some kind of bacteria. That's why you can't breathe properly" I explained
"Oh. But I'm going to be okay right?" Evie asked
"Yes. But if you run, dance or anything that can make you tired, you could collapse and have a hard time breathing" I said
"Oh gosh. *crying* I cannot stop dancing" Evie said crying
"You can still dance but you should not pressure your lungs or else you'll collapse" I explained
"You'll be okay E, believe me" I said as I held her hand
"I'm going to go to Ben for awhile ok? I'll be back" I said
"Okay M. Bye" Evie said

Ben's POV

Mal came up to me sobbing and I didn't know why...
"Ben, Evie's at the clinic and she has pneumonia" Mal said
"Oh Mal, that's bad. When did it happen?" I asked
"Just minutes ago. She passed out" Mal said
"Um Ben, I need to tell you something" Mal added
"What is it?" I asked
"I wanna be with Evie, and she also wants to be with me too! Is it okay for you that we break up?" Mal asked
"Um sure. If it's for your happiness, it's okay for me" I said
"Thank you so much Ben! I appreciate it so much!" Mal said as she hugged me
"I'm going back to Evie, I need to take care of her" Mal said
"Okay! Tell her that I said to take care!" I said
"Sure! Bye Ben!" Mal said waving
"Bye Mal!" I said waving back
"I love you" I whispered to myself
