~ After Eddie gets his acceptance letter ~
"What!? Mom! That's hours away!" I complain
"Edison you got yourself expelled! Plus it says its one of the best schools! You'll get your own room. Maybe a roomie. Maybe you will also find a girl!" My mom responds
"Mom-" I try to say before she cuts me off
"Your dad works there. I am sure you'll be fine."
"You're just like dad! You're trying to get rid of me! Fine! I'll go. Not because of dad, not because of you, but because I'll have a new home! A new family! And mom, its Eddie"
~ Nina's POV, 3 weeks later ~
Its being weeks and I still haven't gotten anything. An acceptance letter... or maybe I didn't get in... Eddie left for the school 2 days ago... I hope he doesn't find a girlfriend while his gone. We've gotten closer during the summer, I think I finally have a chance with him...
Maybe today is the day I get that letter!
"Anything in the mail for me Gran?" I ask
"No, nothing for you, just a letter from Eddie that's all" She says as she hands me the letter.
At least I know Eddie is alright. I read the letter, it says:
"Hey Nins, I feel like your the only one that wants me around so hope you get accepted too. The plane ride was fine. My dad bought me a first ride ticket, but there was a man on the plane.....
~ Eddie's POV ~
There I was. Waiting to get on a plane with a first class ticket. My plane got called so I started getting my stuff. I put my laptop in my backpack, and got my 2 other bags. 7 were already on the plane. I went in the plane and sat down. About 10 minutes later a man came over and sat down. I wanted to avoid chatting with him so I took out my phone and started listening to music. About 5 hours later the battery died... so I took my ear buds put and just sat there. I hoped he wouldn't start chatting... I was wrong.
"So why are you on this plane?" The man asked
"uh am just going to a new school I got into. It says am in Anubis house." I replied. The man suddenly appeared really interested.
"My name is Rufus" He replied rather too quickly... "Do you know anything about this house?"
"Only that its old, and the caretaker is Mr. Rudenmean" I reply
"Rudenmaar" He corrects me
"What? Do you know him?" I ask
"Oh we go a long way back. Am British too. I was just visiting my uh... aunt from america" He says
"ok... so why are you coming back here?" I say
"uh.... its getting late, I should get some sleep" he says as he turns a around, waving away the question.
After the plane ride was over, 7 hours in total, I had to get on a train which was 4 hours in total. Then I got picked up by a friendly taxi driver. The ride was 5 minutes. We chatted, in the end she said "If you ever need anything, call me" she said as she gave me her number. Am sure its just car related right?
There I was. 9 bags behind me. A woman looked out a window and the. came out.
"My name is Trudy! Need any help with those?"
"I could a hand, thanks"
She helped me carry the bags into my new room, which I would be sharing with 2 guys, one named Fabian and one named Mick Trudy explained. It was still early in the morning.
"You should go get something to eat, greet everyone dear, their all in the kitchen"
"Alright." I said as I leave the room and walk to the kitchen. "Hey everyone. My name is Eddie."
"Hi Eddie" A cute blond replied "Am Amber
"Hey" 4 guys said. "Am Fabian, that's Jerome, Alfie, Joy, Mick, Amber, Mara, and Patricia" Fabian says as he points to all of them
"Great. A newbie" Patricia says.
