Lost in Amber

Chapter one:The return

Amber packed her bags, she was ready to go back to her hometown (Gotham) She couldn't sleep the whole night out of too much excitement, then she went to her balcony to relax having the hope that she would fall asleep, but she couldn't then she brought out one of her story book and started reading and in the process she fell asleep.

.......

"Oh my ghosh!! I over slept I need to get ready".Amber said to herself rushing to the bath room.

In not less than an hour she got ready. "Thank goodness am ready" she said putting her hair pin on.

"Amber, Amber!!, where are you?" her mom (Miss Miranda) shouted from the living room

"Coming!!" Amber took her suitcase and started rushing to her mom.

"Good, you are here, are you sure you packed everything" miss Miranda asked checking amber's suit case.

"Yes mom I have" Amber said closing back her suit case

"Ok let's go!!".

So they left for the airport, and boarded the plane, on their way, Amber couldn't wait to reach Gotham

"Finally,we are here" miss Miranda said excitedly
"Really?" Amber said with a twinkle in her eyes

"Wow mom, Gotham  have changed a lot through these past few years" Amber said looking impressed

"Yeah right?, it has really changed" miss Miranda said touching her chin

"Say mom, are we going to be staying in our old house?" Amber asked hoping for a yes

" No dear, we are going to be staying in a different apartment, isn't that exciting?"miss Miranda said holding Amber's shoulder.

"Yes......" Amber said looking disappointed

"Hey, I know that look, you don't like the idea of moving to a new house do you?, but dear we can't move to our old house, it is way too expensive and now that your father is no longer with us we have to move to a three bedroom flat, because it's all I can afford right now" miss Miranda said looking sad and almost at the point of crying.

"Ok mom, and mom sorry for making that face I won't make it again" Amber said with a cute puppy face.

"Ok dear, enough of that let's start going"miss Miranda said with a bright face.

So they left for their new house, but Amber still didn't feel right with the idea, but she had to support her mom through all the way.
