((Y/N)'s POV)

After 'things' that happened quite recently, i am now traveling with a girl. Quite a beautiful one too. With her help, maybe i can find out more about this place. For now, based on what i've seen, i'm not on earth anymore, or at least not the same one that i knew. I don't really know how or why i got here. but for now, i'll just do anything i can to survive. But first, i need to know where i exactly am.

Me : "so, where exactly are we ?" I asked her as we were walking through the forest.

Aoi : "right now, we're in the edge of Akiha, a province controlled by the Nekona clan. This province shared their borders with the human kingdom of Zuerstburg. That's where we're heading"

Me : "so you really are not human. If i may ask, what are you exactly ?" I asked as she just looked at me confused.

Aoi : "i am a Kenomi" she said as she lowered her hood to reveal her catlike ears.

Me : "a Kenomi ? What is a Kenomi ?" I asked as she just sighed.

Aoi : "a Kenomi is not that different from a human. The differences between us are our animal like ears and tails. We also have better reflexes due to our animal like features. And also, our physical strength is beyond that of a human" i'm completely in awe right now.

Me : "wow, this really is a strange world"

Aoi : "you don't have any sense of direction, you don't know what a Kenomi is and you keep saying that this world is strange. It's almost as if you're not from this world" she said as i just rubbed the back of my neck.

Me : "this might sounds strange but it's true. I am not from this world" i said as she kept looking at me confused.

Aoi : "hmm... your clothes does look strange and I haven't seen any pistol like you used back there. You might be telling the truth"

Me : "i am telling the truth. And what do you mean my clothes look strange ? This uniform is beautiful. I really like the color. It suits it's purpose, unlike a 'certain' one i've seen before" ehem... France! Ehem....

Aoi : "i have no idea what you're talking about" she said as i just sighed.

Me : "don't worry about it" i said as we kept walking. And so, for hours, we kept walking. There were many beautiful sights to see in this place. Green grassy plains, calm river streams, dense forests filled with strange animals, and even massive majestic mountains in the distance. I'm quite enjoying my time here. It's definitely better than the dirty mud of the western front. But still, i need to find some place to rest. And so, we kept walking.

(Time skip hours)

I'm tired, we've been walking for.... I don't know, i even lost track of time. It's already dark now. We both decided to rest for the night. And so, found a place to sit down.

Me : "man, i'm tired" i said as i sat down near her. I could feel my body shivering from the cold. I've been sweating, it's natural to be cold right now.

Aoi : "yeah, we've been walking for at least six hours" she said as she sat down. She looks comfortable right now. Why isn't she cold ?

Me : "it's cold here, I'm gonna go find some firewood to make a fire" i said as i was about to stand up.

Aoi : "let me do it. I'll find some firewood" she said as she stood up.

Me : "you don't have too. I'll do it myself"
