Kinley was always known to be the kindest out off all seven of the Alphas children. Hades, being the oldest at 26, Ellenie, second oldest, 23, and then the twins, 22, Marcie and Dracus, Kinley at 17, Talon at the sprouting age of 15, and finally little Jake at 9. The Alpha, Daren, and Luna, Kelsey, have spent a lot of time together, as you can tell. In a few weeks Hades is to become the new Alpha along with his soon to be Luna, his mate Cecile. Ellenie is mated to the Grey Moons pack Alpha, Marcus. Marcie to the Blue Lakes Alpha, Drew, and Dracus is soon to be Alpha to the RoseWood pack with his soon to be Luna, Tina. Tina's father, current Alpha of RoseWood, is sick so he is giving the title to Dracus when he turns 25.
Kinley and Ellenie are attached at the hip. Ever since Kinley was born, Ellenie has sworn to defend her and protect her from the people who want to hurt her. But Kinley is oblivious to what goes on around her. She's always smiling and making people laugh with her witty personality and contagious laughing.
Kinley has wavy chestnut brown hair and big green eyes, so everyone looks her way. She's not a small thing, maybe a little short but she has some curves on her. She stands at a good 5'4 has a medium waist and wide hips. Curves in the right places some might say. Ellenie looks like she could pass at Kinleys mom with the exact same appearance but she stands at 5'7.
There's just one thing that everyone has come accustomed to and has made them love Kinley so much. She's deaf. She wasn't born deaf, but a tragic accident when she was 6 left her scarred. Her father would blame himself, but she's as happy as she could ever be.
"Where are we going daddy?" little Kinley asks, the Alpha smiles down at her and chuckles. "You've asked me that twenty times now, Kin. We're almost there" Alpha Daren answers her question and looks back at the road. They've been driving a good while now and Kinley is getting restless with sitting for so long.
She begins humming a song that's in her head, but then she feels a tingle in her area.
Kinley makes a sour face and crosses her legs, hoping she can hold it in. She's never had the biggest bladder so she's known to have accidents but she tries so hard to stop them.
Uncomfortable and afraid to have an accident in her father's car, she grabs his shirt sleeve and tugs. "Daddy, I have to pee" she says in a tiny voice. Alpha Daren laughs and shakes his head before pulling to the side of the the road.
Kinley jumps out of the car and quickly runs behind a Bush. Still humming her song, she does her business. She goes to walk back to her father's car but she hears a twig snap behind her.
"Hello?" she whispers and steps towards the noise. Another twig snaps and that's when she hears the growl.
Fear stabs at her skin and her little heart slams against her chest. The wolf creeps forward and snarls at Kinley, not even phased that she's only a little girl. The white fur of the wolf looks matted and bloody, it's mouth surrounded with foam. Kinley begins to walk backwards but the wolf crouches down and gives a growl as a warning to not move again. She begins to frantically look around for something to use to protect her, but she finds nothing.
Kinley opens her mouth to scream for her father, but the wolf notices before she does and he lunges towards the little girl. She lets out an ear-piercing scream as the rabid wolf bites down on her tiny leg. "Kinley!" she hears her father yell and soon he's running towards her in his wolf form, his golden eyes shining in the night, fury evident in them. The Alpha's black wolf slams into the rabid, ripping the jaws from his daughter's leg. Kinley screams again and tries to get up to run away but her leg won't move.
She watches as the rabid and her father snap their jaws at each other. Her father bites down on the white wolfs leg, earning a yelp but it doesn't last long. The rabid kicks the alpha and he goes flying across the clearing and landing on the ground with a loud thud and whimper. The rabid then turns his attention back to Kinley, snarling at the girl.
Kinley is picked up by her injured leg by the wolf and he throws her, she cries as she's thrown through the air. A loud cracking noise is heard as she hit a nearby tree with her arm. She screams. The wolf stalks towards her, foaming at his mouth again.
"N-no! Stay a-away from my l-little girl!" The alpha shouts as he limps his way towards them. The rabid growls and grabs Kinley's head with his paws and slowly drags his claws down. Kinley tries to scream out but she has no more energy in her, instead she just whimpers and cries. "STOP!" Alpha screams and shifts back into his wolf form again, running awkwardly towards his precious jewel and the monstrous beast.
The rabid lets go of Kinley, she lies on the ground breathing deeply. Her vision begins to go black but she fights it to make sure her father is okay. She turns her little head, pain shooting everywhere, but she ignores it and watches as her father finally has the rabid by his neck. She doesn't look away as he rips the throat out of the wolf and watches as her father changes back to him human form.
In an instant he's by her side crying and saying things but Kinley can't hear anything. Maybe it's just the blood that's filling her ears? But she doesn't care. Just as long as her dad is safe she's happy.

Hellooooooo Lovelies. Thank you for giving my book a chance. All I ask if for some patience in between chapters. I work a lot and on weekends is when I can mostly write anything because my boss isn't here and no one comes to bother me lol. On my days off I chose to spend them with my fiance because he works a lot as well or with my family because I don't live with them anymore.
This is my first werewolf book and I'm sorry if I get some things wrong so please all I ask is for some nice comments and not negative ones because I do get hot headed and will have no problem with saying anything mean back XD just a warning.
