I'm Falling, Can You Catch Me? {Sasuke Modern Story} - Ch.9

After Sasuke had left I had decied to take a bath. I know I had already taken a shower earlier but that little adventure with Sasuke had left me a little frazzled.

I ran the water and went to the cabinet. I grabbed lilac scented bath salts and a loofah. I also lit several vanilla candles. I spread the salts into the warm water and let the two mix. I quickly undressed and slipped into the warm water. I sighed in content as the warm water engulfed me. For a while I just relaxed, and thought about the days events. 

'Did Sauke really want me to live with him?'

     I mean he had made it quite clear he was concerned about me. But enough to want me to live with him? Where would I sleep? Not in his room that's for sure. If he even so much as suggested that I was outta there.  I wonder if his brother would mind that I would be staying there. 

  I sighed, "I should probably start packing if I'm going to be staying for the whole summer. I raised up out of the water and dried off with a towel. I felt very refreshed. Walking to my room I dabbed at the ends of my hair to dry them. When I was in my room I went to my drawer and grabbed some shorts and a t-shirt. I quickly slipped those on and went back into the hallway. I walked to the hall closet and pulled down from the top shelf a large suitcase. I had it from when I had visited Suna on a field trip. I dragged the large suitcase back to my room and flung it on my bed with a huff. That thing was nearly as big as me! 

Walking over to my closet I pulled down about twelve different shirts. Then walking to my dresser I grabbed six pairs of shorts. I shoved it all into the suitcase. I then grabbed all the essentials such as, toothbrush, hairbrush, girly shampoo, and other womanly things. I packed all that into the suitcase as well. I even put in some makeup, who knows, I may need it. Not for a date with Sasuke cause I KNOW someone is thinking that. 

After packing I decided to go to sleep, Sasuke would be here to pick me up at seven in the morning tomorrow. I climbed into bed for the last time for a long while. Soon I fell asleep and had dreams about a certain person.

I awoke to a very heavy object on top of me screaming, "WAKE UP!" I quickly jumped up, only resulting in me getting caught up in the manyblankets wrapped around myself. Untangleing the blankets from myself I realized that weight was, Sasuke. 

My eyes widened, "Why are you in my house?!" 

       "Well, it's seven thirty. I came at seven, but you never answered your phone so I waited maybe twenty minutes. But finally decided to just come in." 

"How did you get in?"

         "You dont lock your doors, you never do. Remember?" he replied.

I groaned, "Oh yeah. Ugh get off me." I pushed him off into the floor beside my bed. He landed with and 'oof '. 

 Rubbing his now sore bottom Sasuke stood up and offered me a hand. I gladly took it, nearly tripping over the blankets circled around me.

I then realized something, I must look terrible. I never was a morning person, and because of that I never looked particularly good in the mornings. After this realization I quickly shoved my face back into the covers. 

"Go wait in the living room!" 

  "Why?"

            "Just, go!"

    Deciding not to argue, Sasuke left my room. I don't know why it bugged me so much that Sasuke had seen me like this. I mean it shoudn't bug me right?

 Letting it go I walked to my closet and put on some blue jean shorts and a green tanktop that matched my eyes. I brushed through my hair and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After i was all finished I grabbed my bag of things and went to meet Sasuke.

When I got to the living room he was sitting on the couch with his feet propped up on the table.  

 I quickly ran to him and smacked his feet off the table. 

"Sir, last time I checked this was not your house."

 All he did was chuckle, the bastard. 

  "Sooorry. You ready to go?"

"Yeah." And with that we walked out to his car and drove the fifteen minute drive to his house.

When we turned onto a driveway I looked up, not expecting what I saw.

Before me was a HUGE house and I mean HUGE.

I turned to Sasuke incredulous, "This is your house?"

He nodded.

"WHO ARE YOUR PARENTS?!" 

"Have you ever heard of Ta'aki Incorporated?"

I shook my head yes.

"My dad is the cofounder." he stated, like it was nothing.

I brushed it off and followed him inside, it was eeven better. When I first walked in I was greated with a double staircase, on my left was a door way that led to what looked like a living room and to my right a door way leading to a dining room.

"Oh wow." Was all I could say. 

"I guess." 

I stared at him, "You guess? Sasuke this house is AMAZING!" I threw my hand up in the air. 

   He laughed, "C'mon, I'll show you your room." 

I nodded and began to follow him. Almost halfway up the stairs Sasuke stopped. 

"Why did yo-"

Just then he grabbed my hand and ran the rest of the way up the stairs and down a long hallway, finally stopping at a white door. 

 "This will be your room." He jestured to the door. 

Panting, I pushed the door open. As soon as I saw it my panting ceased, my breath caught in my throat. It was beautiful. The room was decorated in yellow and white. A white, almost transparent canopy rested over top the bed. The windows were covered by the same material. The bed itself was wrapped in a pale yellow lace comforter. Over all the room was absolutely gorgeous. 

Sasuke must have seen the look on my face because he smiled and said, "I'm guessing you like it?" 

"Oh my god, yes!" Without thinking I jumped and hugged Sasuke, my arms wrapped around his neck. 

He quickly grabbed ahold oh my waist so we both didn't fall over.

Realizing what I was doing I let go. 

"Um, I'll go unpack." I said awkwardly. 

"Okay, be ready for lunch at twelve." 

"M'kay." With that I slid into my new room and shut the door, letting out a long breath. This was going to be a long summer.
