Almost a week had passed since she had become aware to Molly's cancer. She told Harry about it, but only through text. She couldn't bear for him to hear her cry, that would only make her more depressed. Harry was genuinely sorry, all he wanted was to cheer Abby up, but he felt completely helpless.
The next morning Abby woke up to the phone call she has been dreading.
"Hello, Abby? This is Sarah, Molly's mom. (she could hear her crying as she tried to choke out her words.) I was calling to tell you, that M-m-Molly. She,she passed away last night. She left you a note though. It read:
"Dearest Abby,
I know we have known each other, and it is sad that we chose junior year to decide to become close. You were the best friend I have ever had, and ever could of hoped for.. I wanted to let you know, that I'm so grateful for your gift of friendship, and please don't be sad when I pass. I will miss you dearly, but I'm positive you can go on without me.
