On a nation wide average 800,000 kids go missing a year, that's about two kids everyday. Of the reported cases, Nonfamily abductions amount to about 204,000 of those. Also statistically speaking most kidnappers grab their victims off the street. Which is what confused Mackenzie Anderson. How did no one notice a teenage girl in a Millstone High School letterman being dragged against her will somewhere? What made Mackenzie worry even more was the fact that she couldn't actually remember if she WAS dragged somewhere, in fact she didn't even remember leaving her friends to go home.

In her panic Mackenzie never really looked at her surroundings. Not like she could see them anyways, Mackenzie Anderson couldn't see anything. Realizing she was blindfolded, she tried listening to see if she could hear anything and make out where she was. What Mackenzie didn't know was that she would've known exactly where she was, she came here too often, but much to her inconvenience the surrounding room was silent. She could however feel herself still wearing clothes, it was a small comfort to her.

The sound of a loud bell rang and Sidney ran back to the kitchen to grab the new order placed on the counter. It was unusually busy for a Tuesday evening but it didn't bother Sidney so much as it would if she were still in school. More people, more tables, more hours, more money. When Sidney was called for her break she grabbed a glass of water, walked to the back of the resturant and took one of the booths in the corner. Sidney took out her phone and called Kathleen.

"Sid! Oh thank god. Grams is watching old Days of Our Lives reruns for probably the 100th time. I'm going to go insane."

Sidney laughed and the two girls talked for the half hour Sidney had for her break. Occasionally Sidney looked up and thought she saw someone staring at her, she looked away and picked up her drink. After the friends hung up, Sidney grabbed the now empty glass and walked into the kitchen. Myron's kitchen staff was what one would call roudy, they were a different kind of people, that was for sure.

The crowd died down, and was almost non existant by the time Sidney clocked out at 10:30. As Sidney grabbed her keys from the managers office her Mother called.

"Hey Momma, I just got off. What's up?"

"Did Mackenzie say anything to you about spending the night somewhere?"

"Um...No? I can swing by Danelle's house on my way home, check if she's there?"

"Okay, Thank you. I'll see you in a bit then. I love you"

"Love you too." Sidney hung up and called Mackenzie. After calling three times and Mackenzie not picking up Sidney became worried. She walked out to her car and pulled up directions to Danelle's house. Danelle and Mackenzie had been friends since they were in diapers, if anyone knew where Mack would be it was Danelle. After about 8 minutes Sidney pulled into the familiar driveway. Jumping out of the car she ran and knocked on the door. She saw the lights in the front room come on, suddenly realizing how late it was Sidney started formulaing an apology. The door swung open and a very tired looking Mr. Peterson answered the door.

"Mr. Peterson, I'm sorry to bother y'all this late. But I was wondering if Mackenzie is staying the night. She was with out with Danelle today but s-she didn't come home."
