Ryan's Pov:
Walking inside the house, I could smell food cooking from the kitchen.
"Damn, whatchu making?" I said, earning a smack on the head from my mom.
"You better watch your mouth, Ry." My mom, Erin, scolded as she checked the oven.
My mom was beautiful. She kept herself up and never lost her southern touch. She was originally from Georgia, but moved here when she married my dad. She never gave in to the New York ways, and always talked about how she wanted to move us back down South, but my dad always said "We chillin' up here, what's down south?"
Taking a piece of Chicken, I went over and started smacking in my sister's, Lauren, ear.
Smacking her teeth in annoyance, she mushed my face.
"You play too much, move!" she said, trying to focus on her work.
"Shut up, lil crybaby ass." I said, moving away when I heard my dad's footsteps, as well as earning a glare from my mom.
"Leave your sister alone, boy." My dad, Keith, said kissing mom.
My sister smiled, knowing that she loved when dad took up for her. My dad always loved to baby her, considering that was his only daughter.
