[Shaira's POINT OF VIEW]

When I finally managed to find my voice, all I had gathered and voiced was, "W-What's the meaning of this?"

I took a step back as my husband moved one foot forward. Suddenly, I found myself falling, followed by a loud ~blag~

When I opened my eyes, I realized it was another absurd nightmare again. I glanced at the sprinkled bedsheet and brushed my hair in frustration as I left the room.

I don't know what is wrong with me lately, but I keep having bad dreams about being cheated on.

On the other hand, I don't remember heading upstairs to sleep in our bed, then it must be my husband who carried me to bed. If he's home already, where is he?

I heaved a heavy breath and ascended the floor to prepare breakfast and check out Jhotam's whereabouts.

I didn't bother to take a shower before heading to the kitchen. I need to cook breakfast for my boys. I shook my head in disbelief as I observed them quarrel over what plate should be used.

I know they used to prepare tasty breakfast for me. However, I have no idea that they are skillful in making our kitchen look like a murder scene.

Their heads pivot over 360 degrees after hearing my magnificent clap.

"Look! lil' kido, your mom busted us," says Jhotam while pointing his lips in my direction.

I can't help myself but laugh after seeing my husband wearing my favorite pink apron. It's not my first time seeing him wearing an apron. Still, I don't know why I always burst into laughter.

"Clean all that mess, dad! Or else mom will get mad, right mom?" He escaped his father's killer tickle by running in my direction and clung to my limb.

"Morning!" My husband and I uttered in the chorus as we sealed it with a sweet smack on the lips to start our day.

"Mommy, today is Monday," says Tamra, grinning while his eyebrows are moving upwards and downward.

"Alright, you have classes today. I know it's not the reason for that excitement."

He loves attending school, and he is currently in his 1st level of basic elementary.

"I might run to Hyunra today."

I know he is excited because he has a feeling that he might see Hera's daughter, who's in kindergarten, the same school. After I took my son from his bathtub, I'd prepare his stuff for school. Then, I took shower too before proceeding to the dining area, where my loving husband prepared the table for us.

We offered a prayer to thank thy God for the wonderful day and delightful breakfast.

"Amen," we uttered in chorus after the prayer, then we dug into our plates.

"Let's see what we have for today's breakfast," I uttered, though I observed a piece of bread loaf filled with cheese and ham, fried rice, sunny side up egg, bacon, and chicken broth. The last dish drew confusion in my mind.

I furrowed my brows and asked, "Why chicken broth at this rate?" As far as I've been concerned, chicken broth is for overcoming hangovers.

"Why? Is it forbidden for breakfast?" he remotely asked me in return.

"By the way, when did you come home last night, and how's your work yesterday?" I asked while forking out delicacy.

He lifted his head and stared at me for a split second. Meanwhile, I simply stare back at him as I anticipate his reply.

'What's taking him so long to reply? Did I ask a difficult question?' says a tiny voice in my head.
