After you managed to clean up the the magazines and books that fell over the dog/human who was cowering in the corner, the two of you were about to have breakfast.
Chim only stared at the plates in front of him but you could definitely see the hunger in his eyes. You picked up a chopstick and waited for him to pick up his own pair.
'He probably doesn't know how to use it,' You nearly facepalmed at the realization.
"Here, Chim, like this." You scooted your seat nearer to him and he nearly flinched when you took his hand and guided his hand to properly hold the utensils. His grip was still awkward but it would have to do.
"It's so hard," He whined noisily as he tried to pick up a vegetable but it was constantly slipping. You could only giggle at his sad attempts before you stood up and walked over towards the cupboard.
Fortunately, you kept sets of spoons and forks. You didn't eat at home often, or had meals that would require them, but you still had them just in case.
You were glad that you did.
You tiptoed, after opening the cupboard and tried to reach for the plastic cup where you placed the utensils. You huffed and eventually got a hold of it, held it down and got a spoon and a fork. You tiptoed again and returned it and when you spun around, you nearly dropped the utensils.
Chim had his head and used his mouth to directly eat from the bowl. You rushed over to him and pulled him back, he had already made a mess on his cheeks, the food sticking to them as he stared at you.
"Oh my god," You began as you wiped the food away with a tissue. "You can't do that anymore." You reminded him. The thought of him doing that in public sent shivers down your spine.
He pouted, looking at you as you focused on getting rid of the dirt that stuck to him. "But I was so hungry, Noona." You wanted to roll your eyes but he was being to adorable. You were about done and you pulled away, he was still looking at you with a sad look.
"What's wrong?" You asked after tossing away the tissue and walked back to the table with the spoon and fork. Chim held a downcast glance at the food and you could see that his fingers had curled into a fist.
"I... I made Noona upset so many times today... What if Noona doesn't love me anymore?" You swear that your heart nearly broke at his words.
You smiled sweetly at the moping blonde, "Hey," you managed to earn his attention as he looked at you with solemn eyes. He was using the puppy eyes again and you hate to admit.
It was working.
"I'm not upset, okay?" You began, thinking carefully of the words that you were going to use, you knew that human Chim was a sensitive person, and the two of you have only been talking for two hours or so. "I'm just stressed out with everything that's happening. I mean, yesterday you were a dog, and now..." You were afraid that the next words were going to offend him, he stared at you with wide eyes. "You're human."
"Do you still love me?" You were nearly taken aback by his question but you hid it with a grin.
"Of course."
He was still the same Chim after all.
Or you hoped so.
After you managed to explain to Chim why he couldn't just eat the way he used to, and after you cleaned up (he offered to help but licking the plates but you shooed him away to the living room), the two of you sat on the couch slightly facing each other.
