He was being ignored by you the moment that you got home and until the next day when you left. He couldn't take it.
"Jimin, you're really going to look like a grandpa before you reach your 30s." The shorter boy shot his companion a glare, Namjoon had dropped over Jin for the day leaving him alone with him for the rest of the day.
He was tempted to call him out about it being his fault that all this happened, but the other was too busy snacking on whatever food that he found in the fridge. He wasn't in the mood to eat, he just wanted to make things better with you.
Jin gave a concerned look after swallowing the last piece of oreo that he found in your pantry. "I have the perfect solution, Jimin," He said, still not earning the attention of the younger boy.
"You got me into this, Hyung," Jimin reminded while lazily changing the TV channels, he missed the Food Network channel with how lost in thought he was.
"Hey!" He yelped the moment that the remote was snatched from him and the TV turned back. He saw Jin eyeing him.
"This is why we're going to solve this!" He cheerily said, the younger male did not get a good feeling about it, "Now, listen to my plan."
For the second time, Jimin found himself agreeing to his hyung's ideas.
The glass doors of the building slid open the moment that you stood in front of it, your blood was running cold at the familiar environment presented right in front of you.
You found yourself sighing, it was now or never. You walked inside only to be glanced at by some people, they went back to minding their own business.
It was good that none of them recognized you, they were all probably new.
Not a lot of people knew (not even you lol) that your family actually ran a famous fashion powerhouse. Hawieey, and it was number one in Korea. Not that you really cared.
Your parents forced you to study business so that you could take over the company in the future. You had to admit, it would make your life a whole lot easier, but working in the company would mean that you had to give up showing.
Because your parents found animals repulsive, and only to be used for clothes.
Of course, you didn't agree to that.
You walked over towards the elevator and just as the receptionist was about to approach you and question you, you took out a card that entailed that you were part of the company. A black and gold card with your name on it, allowing you access to every room in the company.
You could easily rob this place if you wanted to.
You swiped and made your way inside, using it to take you up to the penthouse, where your parents' office was. You impatiently tapped your feet as you waited for the elevator to reach to top floor.
You wished that the travel time would take longer or the elevator would stop midway, but it was too good to be true. You found the doors sliding open to reveal the hallway leading towards the office.
"Here it goes." You pepped yourself before pushing the doors open. You didn't bother knocking, it wasn't your thing.
"Ah, so you decided to come, (Y/N)."
You were immediately met with the sight of your dad sitting on his seat in front of his desk with his eyes greatly examining you. Your mother was on one of the couches talking with Jihyun.
'Leech,' You thought to yourself before looking back at your father. He hasn't aged a bit since you last saw him, hair was rich and thick, eyes still held strength in them. His demeanor was the same.
Much like yours.
"Let's get straight to the point, Mr. (L/N)." You smirked the moment that you saw the man subtly click his tongue at the title that you called him. You also heard your mother sigh at your antics.
"The company's image has not been as visible to the public the past few days-" He gestured towards the chair in front of him but you remained glued to your spot, "-the effectiveness of our marketing techniques has not been the same as before."
You wanted to say your opinions in regards to the marketing technique and how boring everything was but you kept your mouth shut.
"We need new faces for our company, new models that would draw in potential customers." He continued to which you cocked an eyebrow at.
"And I come in where?" You ask him, still confused with everything that was going on.
"Your father thinks that you should model for the company," You nearly coughed at your mother's words, looking at her before quickly looking back at your father.
He sighed, "We assumed ahead of time that you would be... defiant." He cleared his throat. "We offer an alternative."
"Which is?"
"Jihyun has informed us that you have friends that have the potential to model for our company." Your eyes nearly gave your shock away as you shot a side glance at the said girl. "If you can convince at least three of them to model, you'll be off the hook. It would also be your contribution to the family business."
The deal seemed tempting, it would be a win-win situation for all sides but you couldn't help but feel like there would be some catch. And you didn't want to decide for your friends.
"If you do agree, you will be given the position as their manager and will be paid."
You needed to make money, but you didn't want to be depending on them. It seemed strange, how they didn't just find another model, there were plenty of other models capable of doing what they were expecting.
There must have been some motif, but you couldn't put your finger on it.
"You do not have to decide now," You swore that you saw his eyes soften as he said that, it could have been a trick of light, however. "You will be given a week, nothing more than that."
