Another day.
You opened your eyes, ready to deal with the whirlwind of a day that you knew awaited. You hardly slept. Everything was a total blur. You were filled with so much emotion - dealing with it took all of your energy. Taehyung had already slipped into your psyche. You had to stop yourself from drifting off into fantasy and imagining all of the things that your future held. You wanted to make everything about you perfect. You convinced yourself that you needed to look amazing, act with confidence, and completely immerse yourself in positivity. You couldn't believe he was interested in you, of all people, and knew you had to stay on top of your game.
Your mind filled up with so many hypothetical scenarios. Is he a cheater? A player? Will I just be used? Is this a short term fling? Will he even come around again? How will he know how to find me? Am I just material he's using to write a song?
You became overwhelmed and rushed to the bathroom. You took a long look at yourself in the mirror. You hardly recognized your own reflection. Wild emotions tended to have that effect on you. You looked down at the water you had just turned on and centered your focus. You cupped your hands and let them fill up with water. You took a deep breath in and threw it on your face. It felt nice - the soothing cold against your frenzied face. You imagined yourself washing away the anxiety. This is the start of a new day. I need to restart my brain.
You calmed yourself down completely and decided to invite over your best friend. Having someone around to consume your thoughts always helped you deal with these situations. You gave Min-Soo a call and invited her over. She always managed to cheer you up some way or another. You both were on holiday from class, so this was a great chance to catch up. You needed to tell someone what had happened and knew you could trust her.

*Knock knock*
You ran to the door, nearly tripping over your own feet at the sound. You opened it up to see a very excited Min-Soo grinning at you. She jumped inside and hugged you.
"I missed you~~!" screeched a jubilant Min-Soo, both arms wrapped around you.
"I missed you too," you murmured as you smiled, enjoying the friendly embrace.
"What have you been up to?" she asked.
"Oh, not much," you fumbled over your words, trying hard not to let her know something was up.
"That look, I know it," she said suspiciously, "What's going on, _____?"
You looked down at the floor trying not to let out a coy smile.
"_____!!!!!" she yelled, coaxing you to fess up.
"Okay fine," you replied, as you gave in, "let me make us some tea and we'll talk about what happened."
Min-Soo celebrated to herself and hopped on your couch - as per usual. She started playing with the random books you had lying around. She always made messes, but you didn't mind, so long as she was enjoying herself. You pulled out your tea kettle and threw it on the stove. You wanted to make sure you both were as comfortable as possible before you dropped the bomb of what happened on her.
You finished brewing the tea and brought it to Min-Soo. You sucked in a big huff of air as you looked across the table at her and sat down. Her eyes were as wide as the sky as she impatiently waited for you to spill your guts.
"So, yesterday I went to the coffee shop. I was feeling really sad, like more sad than usual," you started to explain as Min-Soo nodded her head in agreement.
