14 hours before midnight (10:00 am)
Today is your day off just as what mrs. Lee told you last night so you're very excited to go out. Jaehyun also said he'd pick you up and as soon as you stepped out from the gate, you didn't need to wait any longer 'cause he's already here.
"Hi Lim (y/n)! It's been so long" Jaehyun waved at you and smiled.
"It's been a month only. Don't be ridiculous" you replied and laughed
"It's been a month only? I guess you didn't miss me" he said and stared to sulk. You went near to him and hugged him. "Are you kidding me? I've been dying to get a day off" you replied. He hugged you back and after a little while, he opened the door to the front sit of his car for you and took you to an art museum and ocean Park. When the sky started to get darker, Jaehyun took you to a luxurious restaurant for dinner.
While waiting for the food you ordered, you noticed that Jaehyun can't take his eyes off you so you glanced everywhere not knowing what to say.
"Are you feeling uncomfortable?" He asked. "No, no. Haha" you replied and drank a glass of water "Y/n. How long do I have to wait to get your mother's approval?" With what he said, you were quite shocked and water gushed out from your mouth. This is so embarrassing!
"Did I say something wrong?"
"No no no. It was my mistake. I'm so sorry"
"Ahh. You scared me" he said and took out his handkerchief from his pocket and wiped your face.
"Jaehyun, what approval do you mean?"
"I already told you last year that I'm going to propose this year and you said your mom wouldn't approve until you get a job"
"Ahh. But Jaehyun, isn't it still too early for that?"
"I'm just going to propose. Let's just not think about marriage. We can do that next 10 years if you want."
You froze for a moment and started to think of excuses to escape.
"Uhm, Jaehyun. I think I really need to go. Mrs. Lee's probably looking for me at this hour" you nervously said and stood up.
"Already? But we haven't even eaten anything yet."
"I'm good. I'm good. Thanks for today" you smiled at him and left the place. Before going back to the mansion, you took a walk at the park sorting the thoughts you have in your mind.
I love him but I don't think I'm ready. Also, mom really like Jaehyun so there's no way she wouldn't approve. Even before, I just used the excuse that I need to get a job first for her to approve and I didn't imagine that I would get a job suddenly. How can I face him with this uncertain heart?
You walk around the park for more than 30 times thinking about possible solutions and organizing your thoughts but you found it really hard. You were so focused on how to get rid of the things that bother you that you didn't even noticed it's almost midnight already if it weren't for that stray cat who frightened you. You feel so tired and going home will make you even more tired because of your noisy siblings so you decided to go back to the mansion. When you arrived at the mansion you were so surprised to see that Casper (the name given by Jaehyun to your puppy) is no longer tied beside the front door. You quickly went in to get a flashlight to search for Casper then he surprisingly welcomed you as soon as you opened the door.
"Omygod Capser you scared me!!!" You shouted and hugged him. "Thankfully you didn't got killed by that crazy mysophobic guy"
You're so happy that Casper didn't disappear. You feel like he's so happy too since he can't stop barking.
"Anyway Casper why do you smell different? You smell.....good"
"Ruby stop making noise!!! I couldn't sleep because of y---. Hey crappy agent where have you been??!!! Did you know how much hard it has been for me keeping your dog alive?!!!" Taeyong nagged at the middle of the night. Just wow.
"I'm sor---"
"Go wash up. You must've brought deadly bacteria with you"
"Aishhh you're really crazy!"
"What? Wash up now! And get that crappy dog out of here"
"Casper isn't as smart as other well-trained dogs since he's still puppy. He can't open the door by himself. So I'm wondering who let him in"
"I did because I pity it! Don't try to think something nonsense! And... Who's Casper?"
"This puppy"
"Her name is Ruby! And you don't have the right to name her because you just left her all alone outside. Have you ever thought how hungry she must be? And thanks to me she's free from deadly bacteria but now you dare to share your bacteria to her???!!!!"
"Ruby? Her? Taeyong he's a male. And it's my dog so you can't stop me from playing with him"
"Ahhh, is that so? NOW HURRY AND GET THAT DOG OUT OF HERE AND WASH UP!!! I'm going to spend another bottle of my disinfectants again huhuhu"
After washing up you went to the kitchen to make a dinner for yourself. I should've just ate the foods Jaehyun & I ordered. Why did I left with an empty stomach? *Sigh* This life.
"You didn't ate dinner yet?" Taeyong suddenly asked and you unintentionally dropped the frying pan you're holding.
"Oh God why do you need to appear from nowhere without any signs???!! Now I have to cook again!"
"Clean up your mess. I won't apologize but I'll cook for you"
"Nevermind!!!! I won't eat tonight!" You said with ego and walked in to your room. After exactly 30 minutes, you couldn't endure your hunger any longer so you went out to grab anything edible. You smell something delicious from the table so you went closer to it. There you saw Ramen and Meatballs which you couldn't resist. The lights are off and you don't mind eating in the dark as long you can eat without getting caught but all the lights suddenly turned on.
"You won't eat huh? I'll just pretend I didn't saw anything. But next time, don't act cool if you can't handle the heat"
