Chattering filled the hallways of the school as the bell rings through their ears, indicating that it was time to go home. Teenagers were scattered everywhere in the hallway some going to their lockers and some making out. I gagged because the couple beside me was playing tongue hockey. I placed my books inside and slammed the locker door shut, startling the two people making out. The girl looked down on me with an irritated look considering that only I'm five foot five. I smiled at them smugly as the guy whispered something to the girl looking at me, making her smile seductively-I would say grossly- and the both ran inside a janitor's closet.
"I guess I need to bleach my eyes, then." I shrugged and slung my bag over my shoulder, and walked away to see my ginger friend smiling as girls talk to him.
They tried flirting with him and rubbing their bodies on his tall frame, making the ginger shudder but still kept a tight smile. Such a brave soldier. I rolled my eyes at the girls who kept on rubbing themselves on my friend, and marched up to the group.
"Okay people, it's time to go. Mary! Don't touch him there ya sinner! Go on now, you'll see him tomorrow." I said pushing them away from my friend, his hazel eyes looking down on me with a relieved smile.
The girls went away, muttering some curses at me. Hey, we all can't have what we want. My friend sighed, he rested his back on his locker with a thud, visually becoming relaxed. "Thanks, Sam. Mary almost touched my dick! I swear the girls are getting really hands on." He said running his hand through his hair, a faint smile directed at me.
I scoffed and elbowed his stomach, making him drop his smile and formed a wince. "Don't get too cocky, Matt. I swear to god if you weren't my friend I would have left you there with the girls grinding on to you like a cheese grater." I laughed at him, a snort coming out, making him laugh as well. Matt and I have known each other since we were like, six maybe? He was really short back then with shaggy hair, and his freckles were scattered everywhere on his face-they lessened when he grew up, I don't know how- he had the squeakiest voice that would put shame on a rubber duck. But now, he's towering over me with his six foot three height with his childish grin that never faded through the years.
Someone came from behind and placed his arm around Matt's shoulder while his other arm was placed on my head "Matt got grinded on again?" a deep -and noticeably dead inside- voice asked. We turned to the new-comer; his brown shaggy hair almost covered his blue eyes looking playfully at us. I chuckled and nodded swatting our friend, Will's, arm away from my head.
"And they used their hands! Mary almost touched my dick." Matt shudders again; making Will laugh out loud as I joined in.
"Well, sorry I wasn't here. I couldn't give you a hand." Will removed his arm around Matt with a sly smile on his lips. Oh god here we go again. I rolled my eyes as Matt snickered.
"I gotta hand it to you, Sam. You sure are getting good at hand-ling the girls when they flirt with us." Matt joked back and they both laughed loudly. I couldn't help but laugh at Will's laugh; it's just like listening to a giggly kid, but when he inhales he wheezes like an old man. I soon joined their choir of laughter while we headed home, Will opening a text book about science.
As for Will, he didn't change much. He did grow to be taller than me but smaller than Matt. We met him when we were 8 because he was a transferee and didn't know the word 'socializing' he would just speak if it was important, he wouldn't respond to you if your topic was idiotic. He became brighter and loosened up when we grew; it was just like teenage stage attacked him when he was a kid. Will would always want his hair cleanly cut, with gel practically shining on his head and don't doubt me if I said he would dress like a teacher because he did. Now he doesn't care anymore. He would wear statement shirts or a shirt filled with puns, and he would always like his hair shaggy and messy, his bangs almost cover his bright blue eyes. Seriously, his eyes became brighter when we grew.
