I looked in horror as Matt cupped his mouth from surprise. We looked at each other slowly and then snapped our heads back to Will who was hunched over his huge work table with only a lamp light on. His room was huge, by the way. His tall shelf was filled with books on academics while the other one was filled with robot parts and the last one, well... It was filled with anime girl figurines that has big boobs. His huge curtains were black so it dimmed out the light pretty well. Going back to Will, he looked like a zombie who's hands were the only ones working, and I assume his brain as well.
"Oh dear..." Matt whispers in a high pitched British accent under his hands that were cupped over his mouth. I held in a laugh and nudged his ribcage, making him laugh out loud.
"C'mon, we gotta help him." I say, stepping in his room as I felt Matt followed me. Halfway to Will, I quickly clipped my nose with my fingers "What kind of fucking smell is that?" I say in distress.
I ignored it and thought that I needed to talk to Will first. God, I hope there isn't a dead body here. Matt and I walked side by side to Will and tapped his shoulder "Hey there, buddy." Matt smiles as Will twitched from the touch.
"Yes, Bailey?" Will suddenly stops his hands from working and slump on his table, his brown hair pooling on his desk. He groans and shuffles a little.
"Dude, your room looks like a setting in a horror movie. You need some sunlight." I say dryly and then walked to his huge windows and tugged on his curtains, the sun suddenly shining too quickly for my friend's liking... Even Matt is in distress.
"AH! TOO BRIGHT!" Matt shrieks and rubbed his eyes as Will hissed and sprung from his chair, hiding under his work table. I placed my hands on my hips and looked at my friends and sighed. I took a deep breath and gagged, looking at his room.
There were cola cans everywhere, mixed with rotten burritos and spaghetti "OH DEAR LORD, THE STENCH!" I scream and opened the windows, gasping deeply.
We all did our idiotic thing for a minute. Will hissed and rejects the sunlight under his table, Matt screams like a little girl from the sunlight, and I gasp for air out of the window. Man, I wonder what would it look like from outside, considering that this wall was 75% window and 25% wall. It would be a comedic scene.
After a minute we came back to normal and we loomed over Will, quiet under the table and made a little pout.
"Aww look Sammy, Willy looks so cute pouting under the table of robo parts." Matt cooed, placing his hands on his hips. Will hissed at Matt again, clutching onto his knees.
"You're right Matty! He looks so adorable. Come here, little fella." I cooed at him and pulled him by his arms roughly, dragging him out of the table. He grunts and folded his arms. I huff, thinking that he was heavier than he looks.
"What are you guys even doing here?" His voice was hoarse as he looked at us, adjusting to the light in his room.
"Your dad told us to pull you out of the darkness, dear princess." I bowed at him like a knight in his honor. Will raised a brow and took off his glasses. His eye bags are back. He stood up and dusted himself off and I realized something, I point at him.
I stared at his clothes until I caught his attention and he hummed in curiosity "You haven't showered since yesterday, haven't you?" I asked him, raising a brow.
Will stared at us for a while and shook his head swiftly, picking up the pieces of trash and the dirty burritos. I gagged as Matt looked at him in disgust, our eyes following Will as he cleaned up his room.
