Me and tom have been best friends since we were born, we grew up together,we laughed together,we cried together and we were always there for each other. We were inseparable! When I got to the age of 10 I found out that my feelings got bigger an bigger until I realised I was in love with my best friend
We are now 16 and I'm getting ready for prom with my mum for one of the best nights of my life "You look amazing Y/N" Mum said while admiring my makeup and hair. "Tom will definitely ask you out tonight!" "You think so?" I asked with hope in my eyes"No Y/N I know so" Mum always knew that I had a huge crush on Tom,but was always too scared of how it would effect my friendship with him. Would it get awkward? Would he not want to be friends with me no more? I was then snapped out of my thoughts by the doorbell ringing. When I opened the door I saw the love of my life looking really handsome!! "Hey Y/N, You look gorgeous" tom smiled while rubbing the back of his neck. "Thank you! You don't look to bad yourself" you chuckled while blushing.

When we got to prom it was in full swing, everyone was laughing, dancing and having the best time!
I dragged Tom on the dance floor and my favourite song came on Galway girl by Ed Sheeran. Everyone started dancing like mad, singing or should I say screaming the words with their friends. Once that song went off a special song came on Sam smiths stay with me. This is mine and toms special song whenever we are upset or need someone we listen to this song to remind us that we have each other. Tom brought me back to reality by saying "will u have this dance with me" We slowly made our way to the middle of the dance floor. I layed my head on his shoulder and we swayed to the beat,I wanted to stay like this forever just being in Tom's arms made me realise how much I love him. The song finally finished and I decided we should just walk around outside for a bit. When we were quite a distance away from the party, Tom blurted out "Y/N will u go out with me..?!?" I'm shocked. I didn't think he liked me back but he does. I thought he would want to go out with someone else but he chose me?!? "Y/N Y/N" his soothing voice rang through my ears snapping me out of my thoughts "yes! YES OFC!!" We then kissed it was like sparks were coming off our bodies and there were fireworks around us. That's because there were fireworks around us. Once we pulled away from the kiss,which felt like forever, we sat outside and talked watching the fireworks and went back to the prom to have a good night with my new boyfriend!!
