"His name is Bruce Wayne." Oliver said, putting a piece of blood-covered metal on the table. "Wait. You know that guy?" Rene asked. "Yeah. My father always invited him to our family Christmas party, hoping that he would actually come and be nice to others. He never did." Oliver said.
"He's rude, stubborn, a billionaire, AND a vigilante?" I said. "Sound like anyone we know?" Said Rene, obviously referring to Oliver. "I may be stubborn and a vigilante, but I'm not rude, and I'm not a billionaire anymore." He said. He not-so-discreetly changed the subject. "So, what's our next move?"
We all walked over to the table. "Whose blood is this?" Curtis asked. "Mine." Oliver said. I just then noticed the gash on his arm. "Are you OK?" I asked. "I'm fine. It just grazed me." He said. "You don't look fine! Your arm's still bleeding!" I told him. "You're gonna need stitches, dude." Said Rene. "Please don't call me dude." Oliver said. Everyone was shocked. "Did he just say that?" Said Curtis. "What?" Oliver asked. "Oliver, for you, please is 'the word that must not be said.'" Said John. "I get it. I may have been stuck on an island for 5 years, but that doesn't change the fact that Felicity got me to watch all the Harry Potter movies." Oliver said. "Well, that's the price of marrying me. That, and you also have to read The Lord of The Rings." I said, also intending to get him to read all the Harry Potter books, too.
Oliver cleared his throat, signaling that the conversation was over. "Again, I ask, what's our next move?" He asked. "Well, the metal is in the shape of a bat. I wonder what that means. I'll do some research. You said you know this guy. Where's he from?" I asked. "Gotham City." Oliver told me. I went to my computer, and searched "Gotham City Vigilante", nothing came up. I hacked into the GCPD, no luck. " So, there are no records of a Vigilante in, or anywhere near Gotham City. That means this guy's not from around here." I said. "Well, then where is he from?" Curtis asked. " Another Earth. " John said. "Wait, that's really a thing?" Rene asked. "I'll contact Barry and Cisco, see which Earth he's from." Oliver said, as he pulled out his phone. "Hey, Iris. I was wondering if I could talk to Cisco. I need his help." Oliver walked out of the room, talking to Iris on the phone.
"So, while Oliver's doing that, what should the rest of us do?" Curtis asked. "Train, I guess." John said. "I'll go over the security footage at Palmer Tech." I said.
I studied the man's fighting style while the rest of my team beat each other with sticks.
Oliver got back from his call to STAR Labs. "Cisco contacted Supergirl on Earth-38. He's called Batman." Oliver said. "Batman. That's a stupid name." Rene said. "Really? Is it any more stupid than Wild Dog?" John said. "Hey! I wasn't the one that came up with that name!" Complained Rene, glaring at Oliver and I.
"So, are we taking Batman back to his Earth, or are we going to---" "Kill him? Yes." Oliver interrupted me. "Wait, what?" The whole team said in unison. "I thought you didn't kill anymore!" Curtis exclaimed. "Well, I can't have this guy running around his Earth knowing much about our Earth! Kara told Cisco that this 'Batman' had tried to kill her cousin! Imagine what havoc he could wreak if this lunatic decided to come back here! We don't know what tech they have on Earth-38! He could kill us all!" Oliver yelled.
"OK. I guess you'll just have to talk to him." I said. "Because he may just be lost and confused. He's not in the right universe. He might just want to get home." "Fine. I'll talk to him. Where do you think he is?" Oliver asked.
"Right here!"
