Margo POV.The funeral was beautiful. There were flowers everywhere, every color of the rainbow. Kris would have loved it....
If only she was here
There were so many people that there wasn't even enough room to seat all of the people in the sanctuary.
The funeral wasn't bright and cheery, but it definitely was filled with love.
The preacher read the obituary, followed by a scripture and a prayer. Then the eulogy, and a song.
All of a sudden all I see is her face.
Finn POV.
I look to my right and see Margo starting at me with wide, teary eyes. As she gets up I hear her whisper "I..I have to go to the bathroom"
I grab her wrist and follow her to the foyer. Right after we exit the doors, Margo collapses sobbing like crazy. Then it hits me. She's dead, she's really dead. My best friend in the whole world is dead and I did nothing to stop it. A tear rolls down my face. "Oh Finn" says Margo, then falls into my arms. I had a fire burning inside me, ready to explode.
"It was all my fault" I whisper into her ear. "Finn what do you mean?" Asked Margo. " Its all my fault...I'm the reason she's dead" All I feel is anger and pain. "Finn it's not your fault." "YES IT IS, ITS ALL MY FAULT BECAUSE I LET HER RIDE WITH THAT STUPID BRYCE, INSTEAD OF DRIVING HER HOME MYSELF. IF I HAD TAKEN HER HOME THAT NIGHT, NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE EVER HAPPENED." I say with tears pouring down my face.Soon after that people start pouring out of the church, so I grab Margo, and run to the truck. Nobody can see me like this. NOBODY.
After the lot clears out, I file in line behind the other vehicles, heading to the grave sight. As we enter the front gate of the cemetery, we are handed two yellow roses...Kris's favorite. "This would have been what she wanted." Said Mrs. Baxter, Kristen's mom.
Margo POV.
Finn and I walk up to the casket, and place the yellow roses. One on each side of her "I love you baby girl" I whisper as the casket is closed.
Time to go home.
