Margo POV.
I wake up to my alarm beeping. The clock reads 5:00. Time for my morning run. I quickly throw on some black leggings, Nike sports bra, and a green tank top. As I was lacing up my shoes I got a phone call.
"Hello?"
"Hey beautiful"
"Oh, hey Finn"
"What are you doing?"
"About to leave for my morning run. You?"
"Early shift."
"Ok, what did you call for?"
"Oh yeah, I was wondering if you would
"want to go on a date later today?"
"Sure, when and where"
"Cafe at 3:00"
"Sound good"
"K. Bye m"
"Bye Finn, see you later"
Bohemian rhapsody blared in by ears as I rounded the block to head back home. Running this early is always so peaceful. Nobody is up, it's just you, nature and the birds chirping. There's nowhere I'd rather be.
I quickly stripped of my sweaty clothes hopping into the shower for a quick rinse. When I got out of the shower the air was frigid and cold. I quietly ran to my dresser and got dress as fast as I could. The rush resulted in grey sweatpants, a lularoe tee shirt, and an under armor sweatshirt. I slipped on my slippers and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast.
I had a delicious breakfast consisting of two chocolate chip pancakes and three strips of bacon. I know, healthy right.
By 1:00 I had already cleaned, swept and mopped the house. A rare accomplishment considering how lazy I am.
I washed and dried my hair, painted my nails, and put on my makeup. My outfit was casual, jeans and a tee-shirt. I grabbed my purse and walked out of the door
I knew the route like the back of my hand. Two rights, then a left, another right then two lefts. I arrived at 2:45, and Finn didn't get off until 2:50, so he was still working the counter when I got there.
"Hey Finn!"
"Oh, hey Margo!"
Finn was still wearing his apron when I got there. He looked at Stacey, his manager, and she replied with a head nod and a quick "you can go" look.
The date was short and fun. I got a Carmel macchiato, and Finn got an iced latte. I know...basic.
The date was over and I was headed to my car when I heard Finn frantically running and screaming.
"WAIT MARGO I FORGOT SOMETHING"
"And what would that be Finn Reyes?"
"This."
I felt a flutter in my stomach. He leaned in and gave me a quick kiss on the lips. Finn knew how much i loved goodbye kisses.
"I love you Margo Walsh"
"And I love you Finn Reyes"
