Maddie's P.O.V
After a brutal practice, Gabby and I decided to head to Starbucks. We did conditioning for an hour, and 6 full-outs. Everyone was dying.
We walk into Starbucks (which is conveniently right down the street from our gym) and walk to the counter. Gabby and I come here so often, the barista knows exactly what we want. All we have to do is walk up to the counter!
After we get our double chocolate-chip frappes, we start walking to a table. I see our friend Alison at another table. "Hey Alison! Funny seeing you here!" I say sarcastically, because who DOESN'T go to Starbucks. "Oh hey guys! Do you wanna sit?" Alison says pointing at the other two chairs at the table. "Sure!" Gabby answers as we both sit down. "So what's up Alison? We haven't talked much lately!" I ask. "I know! I've missed you guys! It's just that with all the final exams going on I was always studying or at the library. What about you guys?" Alison explains. "Well, with NCA coming up, we've been in the gym almost everyday. It's insane! I barely have time to study!" Gabby says. Alison's phone beeps. She looks down at it on the table and says, "Sorry, I've gotta go. I have to go pick up my little brother from baseball practice! We'll have to do this again, to catch up some more!" She grabbed her bag and Starbucks. "Yeah we should! I'll text you!" I say as she walks away.
Gabby's P.O.V.
After Alison left, we finished our Starbucks and left. I dropped off Maddie at her house and then drove home. I walk up to my room to practice the choreography to Maddie and I's routine. I hear the ring of am oovoo call on my tablet. I answer it and see Maddie's face pop up. "Hey Gabby! Wanna practice the routine together?" Maddie says over the call. "Sure! Let me go to my basement so I have some more space real quick." I say as I walk out of my room towards the basement. "Ok!" Maddie says. I reach the basement and walk over to my cheer corner. My dad built it for me when I started cheer. It's got 2 blue Tiffin mats and a mirror wall for me to practice. I also put my tablet tripod down there so me and Maddie can practice together over oovoo!
"Ok. Let's go over the first three 8 counts." I say as I set my tablet on the tripod.
