Shit. Shit. Shit! Crystal cursed over and over in her head. Megatron told her that he's taking her with him for a battle against the Autobots, and she couldn't handle it. She's secretly been protecting Autobots by 'accidentally' slipping and falling between them. Megatron trained her to access a sword that was attached to her frame that he had Knockout equip her with, not that she planned on ever using it, but she wanted so badly to test it out on something other than dummies.

"Time for us to go," Megatron growled, his optics glowing with a maniac-like excitement in them. Crystal's nervousness only got worse, as she followed the vehicons onto their ship, and waited for the destination to arrive. She started to pace around, her panic clear to Knockout.

"It'll be fine, Crystal." He assured.

"But..." Crystal wanted to say she didn't want to kill an Autobot or say she couldn't protect them from the massive wave of Decepticons, "What if I get killed?"

"Optimus wouldn't let that happen to you." Megatron said in a huff, "Even if you two are enemies he wouldn't kill you. Although I think he believes you are dead." Crystal nodded, her hands still shaking, "I won't let you die." Megatron mumbled quietly.

"We have arrived, Lord Megatron." The ship landed roughly as the Decepticons flooded out of the ship.

"Come on, Crystal..." Megatron headed off of the ship, and Crystal followed. She looked, Optimus was standing there, looking like Orion on steroids. They locked optics, but instead of his being filled with joy, she saw a cold hatred for her. She then realized what she must do.

"Lord Megatron..." Crystal said, tilting her head down, her face and optics growing dark, her optics slowly becoming red, "Let me swing the first blow." Megatron glanced at her as she looked up at Optimus once more.

"As you wish." Megatron grinned in triumph and signaled for the Decepticons to get further back. The sounds of metal and pistons moving around soon revealed the sword, which her hand wrapped tightly around. She pulled it out, and it began to glow a furious red.

"Autobots! Hold your ground!" Optimus ordered and stepped out to challenge Crystal. Crystal took no hesitation and swung her sword around her completely when she finished the circle, a large blast erupted from the blade. It merely passed through all the Autobots, as Megatron waited patiently. Suddenly a huge wave of Insecticons arrived, attracted to an unnoticeable smell.

Crystal's face turned evil, "Decepticons! Attack! Attack! Attack!!!" She commanded, disregarding Megatron's post as the leader and charged out. The battle droned on, she didn't hurt any Autobot more than a slash, nothing life-threatening. And they noticed. They noticed heavily.

Crystal spun around about to attack the bot behind her, when she came face to face with Ratchet, "Ratchet... Move." She growled, and he crossed his servos.

"Please, Crystal... You can still join the Autobots..." Crystal looked at him baffled.

"Optimus hates me. He'd never want me!" Crystal shoved under his arm, suddenly protecting him from a vehicon, "And get to safety you dumb sack of bolts!" Ratchet blinked at her in surprise before running off into the dust storm, Crystal sighed before she continued to fight off both Autobots and Decepticons. Her speed made her invisible as she would defend the Autobots, when the fight ended with Megatron shouting for a retreat, the dust settled.

Death. Death was everywhere, no matter how hard she had tried to protect the Autobots, there were so many dead, so many Autobots weeping over their dead. Did she cause that? Her optics turned back to blue as her eyes filled with coolant. She walked past Megatron, not saying a word about her own injuries.

"Crystal. I need to see you ALONE." He said in an angry tone, which she merely nodded back to. About 30 minutes later she met up with him in the hall, where unexpectedly, he whacked her up against a wall, "How dare you defy me and protect the Autobots!" He shouted.

"M-Megatron?" She turned over to see him stomp over to her, "I saw you protect Ratchet, You even protected Optimus!" Megatron kicked her up against the wall, "I'm never going to trust you back out on the field! You will remain here!" He slammed his pede onto her chest, making her cough up Energon, "And until I see those optics red again, I will beat you every day." Crystal looked up at him in fear as he walked away from her. She had seen him abuse Starscream, but she never thought he would hit her, and she was proven wrong. She sat up and just cried. She was sick of the war, why did they all have to die? Why did they have to kill their planet? Their beautiful... sweet planet. She got up after a while and limped off to the med-bay, but she realized it was full so she grabbed a welder and started to repair herself. Knockout watched just in case she needed assistance.

"Megatron...?" Knockout said quietly.

"Yeah..."

"I saw what you were doing. I saw your conversation with their medic." Knockout sighed, "But you shouldn't be blamed for that, it was your first battle, you're conflicted. Unlike us, you promised to be with Megatron, we just wanted to be on his side."

"Sometimes I wish I didn't promise it..."

"Well... If you ever decide to leave... Don't forget to tell the big O KO said hello." He whispered softly, and Crystal looked up at him in shock, "Crystal face it..." He watched as the last vehicon left, "You belong with the Autobots, not with the Decepticons."

"I think.. that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me..." Crystal looked up at him smiling softly. He smiled slightly back.

"You saved me a few times from Megatron."

"I did." Crystal left all healed, and took a glance back at Knockout, "You know you can come with me if I leave, right...?"

"No. I'm going to stay with Lord Megatron." Crystal smiled heart-warmingly at him as she left.

Leave the Decepticons. Break a promise. Be safe. These were the thoughts that clogged up her processor as she went into power down.
