You were running to get home, it was raining. Your clothes were soaked but right now, that wasn't the main matter on your mind. It was the fact you were alone late at night. You reached into your bag and checked the time on your phone '11:00pm' it's 11:00 pm in the middle of the night. You were never usually out this late moreover you were afraid to stay out this late.
Ever since you were a child you were always afraid of the dark, at night you would ask to sleep with your parents in their room just because it made you feel safe and at ease. But now that you're 21 you felt like it's time you be independent, you'd usually think by the age of 21 your fear would have disappeared?
Nope.
Even though you're 21 you still found yourself quaking whenever you were in the dark, there's a reason to how you came to fear the shadows but that's another story to tell.
You stayed under the shade of an old apartment and kept trying to wave down a taxi, once you finally got access to one you immediately told the driver to drive to your apartment. As soon as you got home your phone went off.
It was your brother Go Se Joon.

"Now? Really?!" You sighed before answering the phone

SJ: "Hey sis"

Y/N: "What do you want Se Joon?"

SJ: "Nothing, What? Can I not call my sister and ask her how she's doing?"

Y/N: "It's 11:30 pm in the middle of the night Se Joon. Who the heck calls at 11:30 in the
middle of the night on a Tuesday!?"

SJ: "Okay, okay, 미안해 (mianhae) Noona. I'll be honest now, I do have a small favour."

Y/N: "Ugh... whenever you say you have a small favour it's nothing even close to small."

SJ: "Please...?"

Y/N: "What's the 'small' favour?"

SJ: "Can you move back Seoul and help me pay back my landlady?"

Y/N: "how much...?"

SJ: "Um... about..30,000,000 Won..."

Y/N: "Wait....how much! 30,000,000 Won! That's enough for more than half of my household expenses and university fee!!"

SJ: "Yea... so can you help me pay back my rent please Noona..?

Y/N: "Do you have a debt Se Joon! How the heck did you get such a big debt!"

SJ: "미안해요~ (mianhaeyo~) Noona~~ please help me~ I'll do anything!~"

Y/N: "I don't know Se Joon... I have a stable life here in Daegu.. and I can't just leave my job here."

SJ: "Please..?"

Y/N: "Arasseo. But you owe me now..big time."

SJ: "Yeah, Yeah I get it I'll pay you back on it."

Y/N: "You better."

*hangs up*
