When my friends told me to 'go outside and live a little' I highly doubt they meant 'go outside, find a puppy, meet a cute guy, and get caught up in a car chase', but here I am. In a car chase, with a puppy and a cute guy....at least I'm outside.
None of this would've happened if my friends believed me when I said I hated crowded places; then again they probably would've, had I had enough courage to tell them so. So technically even though this is all due to my crippling anxiety and fear of confrontation, it's easier to blame my friends.
When I initially went outside it wasn't so bad. The day was warm and no one talked to me. Then I found that adorable puppy on the street and saw into his even more adorable owner.
Now you're probably wondering, "Y/N how does this lead to the car chase?" Well I'm getting to that.
Anyways. The owner introduced himself as Yoongi and the puppy as Yeontan. Turns out that adorable ball of fluff is his friends and he's just dog sitting. I introduced myself to which went along the lines of:
"......"
"What's your name?"
"....y/n.."
"I'm sorry I missed that. Could you speak louder?"
"Y/N."
"Y/N? Nice name."
I know. I'm amazing at flirting, keep 'em interested.
Somehow that meeting snowballed into us walking, which in a series of events I won't explain led to us getting chased by a gangster and some of his pals, so we hopped in my car and Yoongi took the wheel. Which leads us to this current moment.
"hard left. hard leFT. HARD LEFT"
"TRUCK!!!"
"TURN. TURN. TURN."
"Hey. Wanna get dinner sometime?"
"Are you really asking me out right now this isn't the right tiME. RIGHT"
"So is that a yes or...?"
"If we get out of this alive."
"Cool!"
"WATCH OUT FOR THAT-!!"
