Slowly the sun rises and lets sunlight into the one sight of freedom Nathan had from his bedroom. As the light pours in everything becomes clear. There is a tipped over bottle of tylenol with the sleek oval pills coming out of it. Nathans room is messy like almost every boys room. Clothes are thrown everywhere and dust and dirt cover the light hardwood floors. His bed is a small twin sized bed that he has had for over 5 years now and it has stickers and scratchs all over it. All of a sudden the peace of the morning is disturbed when a loud sound coming from the top of his night stand goes off.

Nathans white iphone was now going off trying to wake the wounded devil up. But soon the alarm stopped and not by Nathan turning it off. The timer the alarm lasted for had ran out and the iphone now layed there silently. The room returned back to silent and the light from his window finally covered a small rectangle portion of Nathans room. The dust now glistened as it fell from the roof onto the floor in the light of the sun. For that one moment time was still there was no movement in Nathans room except the dust that just kept falling.

The room remained silent and all you could hear was the constant ticking of the clock. That clock ticked slowly as it counted the seconds to minuites to hours that went by. That clock was the only thing that proved time didnt stop, as the minuites went by more dust kept falling and there was no sign of life in that silent and still room. The house was left silent after the front door got opened twice and then slammed shut.

Suddenly Nathans white iphone started ringing but the room remained still. So the phone just kept ringing over and over again until who ever was calling finally got the message..... Nathan wasnt going to answer because he was stiff and motionless on his bed. But every couple of minuites for a brief moment of time, his phone would light up and ping then go back to being silent. All of a sudden there was a loud bang at the back door.

Jake had kicked in the white dog door and crawled through to get into Nathans house. Soon after he ran and opened the front door and Brandon rushed through the door. Without hesitation they both ran up stairs and started their search for Nathan. They opened all the doors on the second level and couldnt find him, so they ran up the narrow light hardwood stairs to the third story.

Their faces reflected their thoughts on how the third story attic looked. Jakes face was twisted up in disgust from just how dusty the playroom was. While Brandons just remained serious, as he walked to the door across the playroom and opened it. To his surprise he had found the restroom from hell and quickly closed the door and his face too turned into one of disgust. Jake saw only one more door and walked towards it his hand shaking as he hesitantly opened the door to Nathans bedroom.

Their faces changed from complete shock to disgusted as they took in Nathans room. The broken blinds that let a small amount of light in the small and cramped room. The closet door that was broken and left to the side of the room. They turned their heads to the broken and crooked drawers of the dresser. They took in all the paint all over the white dresser. Then they took in the peeling wall paper that was now curving downwards from the top of the room. And the dusty and worn down light hardwood floor that creaked every time they moved.

Their eyes met for one breif moment exchanging their surprised and disgusted looks on their face. Before both their eyes landed on the small white bottle tipped over on the ground. It had pills coming out jake picked the bottle up and whispered " Its tylenol.." In that split second horror struck both of their faces as they pieced it all together. " He couldnt have. " They both said at the same time before their eyes landed upon the bed.

Nathan laid there on his tattered old bed and was like a perfect statue. His long and slightly buff arms were stiffly by his sides, his long and perfect legs were both straight ahead of him. Nathans beautiful eyes were closed tightly shut, his beautiful pale pink lips were slightly parted. His jet black hair glistened and his pale white skin shimmered in the sunlight. Nathan finally looked at peace with the world as he layed there stiffly.
