I struggled to open my heavy eyelids,trying to withstand the bright white lights which seemed to come from the ceilings.
Everything seemed so blurry and all I could make out was a white ceiling...with subtle stripes that formed some kind of pattern...

Wait a second...

Wasn't this the hospital?

Immediately,I recognized the familiar surrounding I once experienced during the death of my mother.
But why was I in a ward?
On my wedding?

A nurse came rushing into the ward,followed by a doctor.
More specifically,he was the surgeon who operated on my mother,according to my memory.

Without a word,he started checking on my body,using his thermometer and stethoscopes.
The furrow on his brows was an unpleasant sight,why was he worried?
"Get me her report card,she needs her health condition updated after almost 1 year of passing out."he spoke deliberately.

1 year of passing out....?
Where the hell is Jungkook?

I decided to sit up in the uncomfortable hospital white-sheeted bed.
It used up tons of effort and my whole body was aching.
But I had to find my husband.
Or...my soon to be husband since we haven't really finished the wedding....

Did we?

A stroke of electricity gushed through my mind and sent shivers done my spine.
What was this painful experience,which I had no clue why?

"Excuse me...but where is my husband Jeon Jungkook?"I spoke up,facing the doctor who was filling in some reports.

He flipped through the patient lists and looked through it twice.

"I'm sorry Miss...I double checked this but there isn't a patient named Jeon Jungkook?"

What does he mean?
Is Jungkook not in the hospital?

I slightly nodded and tried to search for my phone.
I had to contact him.

"Miss,I couldn't find any information regarding your married status,are you sure you were engaged before you passed out?"the doctor came closer to my bed and said.

His words were aching my head.
What was that supposed to mean?

"No,I'm sure I was engaged.Was I really out for that long?"

The doctor took a deep breath and tried his best to not sigh.
"Losing memory could be a possibility after not being conscious for 1 year,it is normal to be worried and nervous,but I hope you're taking this well..."

Me?
Losing memory?

"What are you trying to indicate?I had a husband and I was at my own wedding,how the hell have I lost my memory if I remembered what happened before I even passed out?"

"I'm really sorry Miss Ha,your memory seems to be more limited than we predicted..."
