Chapter 2

Alexa's POV

I can feel people looking at me, then again that's probably because I'm wearing a massive jumper in the middle of summer.

I carried on putting the books in my locker, there was muttering behind me. I took a quick glimpse over my shoulder, oh god! It was Fletcher and his mate Matt.

I've had a massive crush on him for a few years, it's a good thing that I have no close friends to tell. At this school, you say something to one kid and it gets round like a forest fire. Even if you tell your best friend. It's ridiculous if you ask me but I guess it's just the whole secondary school cliché.

I shut and locked my locker. Unfortunately while doing so, the sleeve of my worn jumper had sneakily rose up when I was putting all the stuff away. Damn! I quickly pulled my sleeve down.

I looked at my timetable to see what I had next. Sadly it was Maths. Oh god, I have to sit next to Fletcher too. I can't wait for this day too be over! But when I get home I don't want to be there either.

I put the timetable back in my bag and carried on walking. I put my head down as I walked by Fletcher and Matt and a couple of other guys, I heard Matt say something but couldn't make out what it was, the next minute I felt myself fall to the ground with a oof! It was fletcher that had fell on top of me.

"H-hey," he said shyly. His voice was just perfection.

"Erm... Hi?" I replied as I felt my cheeks go a slight shade of red.

"Sorry..." Fletcher said as he got up. I looked at him and gave him a small smile. I grabbed my bag that had fell on the ground next to me and quickly got up from the awkward situation an walked swiftly around the corner.

That had to be one of the most embarrassing things that has ever happened to me at school.
