Chapter 4

***Chris's P.O.V***

"If he wants me, he can come get me."

Right when I said that, someone knocked on the door. Everyone looked at me. "Looks like he heard your cry omega," Sasha said grinning.

I kept my eyes forward, wondering if I should go answer the door. "It's open," I yelled, not wanting to be alone with him again. I heard the door open, his presence grew stronger, closer, though his footsteps were silent. I knew he was in the room because Max stiffened and stood. I simply turned around to see his broad chest in the doorway. My eyes drank him in, from his broad chest to his delicious 8-pack, all the way to his sinful V because his pants were dangerously low.

He raised an eyebrow at my speaker. "Didn't know you were into this music," he said. I completely forgot Sick And Twisted Affair was playing, but I turned it off quickly.

I bit my lip, my wolf howled to be mated with him. "What are you doing in my territory?" I asked him.

He looked at me with a raised eyebrow. "I wanted to talk," he said, then looked at Max seriously. "Alone. What is this human doing here?"

"That depends on what you wanna talk about," I responded swiftly, stepping between the two.

His eyes softened slightly as he looked at me. "Again, I was hoping alone," he said looking around the room.

"Alone, you do what you want with me but you're completely different in front of people, let's see if it's the same. At least, when you treat me like you do, they'll stop you," I said with more confidence than I felt. "Now I will ask you one more time, why'd you come in my territory, Jacob?"

He stalked around the couch, everyone started to move in front of me but I waved them away. Jacob came within arms length of me. He reached for me but I moved his hand away. "I have chosen you, my wolf has chosen you," he chuckled. He swiftly grabbed my arm and pulled me closer before I could stop him.

I looked in his eyes but I still saw that different something in his eyes, not the fake hatred or the blatant lust, though lust was there. "We'll continue this in my room," I told everyone, but still looking at him. "The full moon event is tonight, so I'll see you after me and Jacob finish talking."

"Not a whole lot of talking is gonna happen in that timeframe is it?" Sasha teased. I looked and grinned then winked at her, letting her know that she only stated the truth.

"You'll just have to find out then," I said teasingly back.

"Are you sure your boyfriend won't mind," he said scowling at Max.

"Max is just a friend, Zach over there is his actual boyfriend," I said grinning.

He grinned back, raising an eyebrow. "You set me up?"

I nodded and shrugged. "I knew if I didn't make you jealous, then just me denying you wouldn't be enough."

"Still," Max interfered, "if you hurt him I'll-"

"You'll do what?" Jacob said letting go of me.

"We will all pay you back in full, especially me," Kaitlyn said standing, her arm around Sasha intimately. Zach came to Max and Max wrapped his arm around Zach intimately. "This is our new pack, we are one family, even with the humans," she explained. "With me and Sasha as their alphas," she said, looking down lovingly at Sasha. Sasha grinned and kissed Kaitlyn. Then Kaitlyn looked at Jacob again. "Mess with him," she gestured to me, making me put my head down in happiness, "you mess with the family." Then she looked at me and smiled. "We're gonna be hanging out at the park if you need us." I simply nodded and grinned at my new sister.
