Broken In Two (TaoRis)

Again?

Chapter 4:

Their manager came walking in to their living room with a stern look on his face. All members were scared, and some looked worried. "Just so you guys know, Kris is in his room resting again."

They could sense awkwardness and that the manager wasn't telling them something. "Did something happen to him again?" Sehun asked.

The manager just stared at the rest. "Wow, you guys care for him a lot, don't you." He said with a nearly evil grin.

"Of course we do!" Lay was close to yelling. "We all care for each other! We support and help each other. We al-"

Suho cut him off. "Just tell us what in the world happened to Kris-hyung!"

The manager slightly rolled his eyes. "He just fainted again. He's in his room resting, still unconscious. Not a big deal, I'm sure he'll be fine."

They could not believe their manager's reaction. Tao got up, swiping his dish to the ground, and rushed out. Kai got up, walked up to the manager and punched him.

"Kai!" Everyone exclaimed.

Kai ignored all of them and glared at the manager. "I have never met someone so cold blooded!"

"Kris!" Tao rushed into their room. "Ge!" He saw Kris peacefully laying on his bed. He quickly reached for Kris's hand and place his other hand on Kris's forehead. Kris was slowing getting sick; his forehead obviously stating that. 

Tao was overwhelmed with feelings. He felt pissed off, but guilty, confused, and worried all at the same time. Guilty that he was dumb enough to not have stayed and watch over Kris. Confused on why the manager would be that harsh on Kris and not anyone else. Worried if Kris would be okay.  

He kissed Kris on his temple then quickly went to go look for medicine. He couldn't find any in their cabinet so he had to go ask the others. 

"LuHan!" Tao pounded on the door of Luhan's dorm. 

He heard footsteps running towards the door. The door quickly opened and there stood a tearful LuHan. "Tao, how's Kris ge? Did you hear, Kai punched our manager."

Tao's eyes widened; never thought Kai would punch anyone. He quickly ignore that news, at that time it was Kris that needed help. "Kris ge is getting sick, I'm not sure if he'll be okay. LuHan ge, do you have any medicine?" 

"Yes, of course." LuHan rushed inside then reappeared with armfuls of medicine. "I grabbed all I could. Let's go!"

Tao quickly nodded and ran back down the hallway. He could help but stare; he never thought someone could have that much medicine. 

LuHan noticed and smiled wearily. "This medicine is for occasions like this."

"Good planning," was all Tao managed to say before entering his dorm.

As soon as LuHan saw Kris, his face turned pale and this eyed widened (they looked even bigger than usual). "W-why would our manager do this to him?" LuHan stuttered as they slowly walked towards Kris who was sweating and shivering. He gently placed the medicine on the table as if a little sound could wake Kris up.

"I don't know." Anger was building up inside Tao. "I wish I was the one that punched that manager in the face!" 

"We all wish we could have slapped, kicked, and punch that manager!" Baekhyun suddenly came in.  "How's Kris-hyung doing?" 

"He's getting really sick." Tao whispered not looking at anyone. 

Suho came in and cast a glance at Tao and Kris. "Guys." His signaled for LuHan and Baekhyun to leave. Tao gave Suho a thankful smile.  Suho nodded and exited himself.
