So I start walking towards the Ferris wheel.

The night sky was dusted in stars, Rin had observed. He had found it a bit odd, since even the town of Iwatobi1 faced some pollution problem of its own. Nevertheless, he was grateful as you seemed to love the bright, twinkling stars. He wanted to see your lovely, radiating smile as much as he could tonight, to make you happy.

The two of you were on a date, as the carnival came by for a few days. Knowing how bubbly and somewhat childish you were, Rin had thought that it was a nice idea to take you tonight. You were overjoyed, to say the least. You had thanked him excitedly many times and even dragged him across the whole fair to see every stand and ride there was.

Rin didn't mind, of course, since your hand was entangled with his throughout most of the date. You urged him everywhere, pointed out all the "pretty lanterns and wonderful decorations", and even managed to persuade him into winning you a lavender, stuffed alpaca.

Every moment was sweet and fun, just as the maroon-haired boy had hoped. Cotton candy was eaten, little children had bounced around happily, and laughter was shared as time passed by.

"So, (Name)... Where do you wanna drag me to this time?" Rin teased, after helping you remove the tangled string part of your mask from your (color) hair. His own mask was sitting on top of his head, revealing his grinning face. It wasn't stuck to his hair, you had noted with envy as your scalp still ached a little from the tugging and pulling.

Your eyes widened and you shoved him playfully. Turning away to hide your smile, you received a laugh from the shark-like boy. He couldn't help but let his smile grow even wider at the sight of his adorable girlfriend.

"S-shut up," you protested. "Don't act like you didn't like it...!" Rin laughed once more and pulled you closer to his body. You felt your face ignite with a heavy blush, but you said nothing and enjoyed the warmth of the teenager.

"Alright, alright. I'm sorry," he kissed your forehead to add onto his apology, causing your cheeks to turn even pinker.

There was only one place left to visit since the two of you had been there the whole night. The infamous and cliché Ferris wheel.

"Okay. Well, there's only the uh, Ferris wheel left... So can we go on that?" you requested, looking up at your boyfriend with hopeful eyes. He smiled and took your hand in his for the umpteenth time that night.

"Of course." Rin murmured sweetly, and with that, the two of you started walking hand in hand towards the flashing, bright lights of the Ferris wheel.
