22. MAKE YOU MINE

Chanyeol's POV

This was worse than being shot in the first place.

It felt like Baekhyun was digging into my bullet wound with the intention if ripping my insides out.

Luhan and Lay kept screaming that he should let go of me.

“WHEN WERE YOU PLANNING ON TELLING ME THAT PARK FREAKING SUNG-JIN IS YOUR FATHER” Baekhyun lashed out and I swear I blacked out for a few seconds because of the pain mixed with shock.

How did he find out? Who told him? Don't tell me he found me.

OH SHIT.

I snapped out of my train of thought when Baekhyun pushed his gun against my head.

“I had to find out from him myself. He told me I had something of his and when I found out it was you I almost put a bullet through his head because you're mine and no one can have you. Gosh Chanyeol I wish you had told me sooner. If you were hiding from your father I could have protected you better” Baekhyun said as he put away the gun and let go of me.

“Everyone out now” Baekhyun lashed out and the room was empty 3 seconds later.

Before I could respond I felt lips on my own in a hungry passionate kiss.

“When I thought he wanted to take you from me I made an immediate decision. I was ready to kill him. I now realise I can't live without you. I love you” Baekhyun said before kissing me again.

I was now feeling light headed and felt moisture on my clothes.

“Baek...baby...I love you too...but I think you need to call Lay back in” I said before everything went blank.

Author's POV

Chanyeol passed out in Baekhyun's arms before Lay was called in.

He patched the tall male back up before they left the couple alone again.

“What am I going to do with you” Baekhyun whispered as he stroked his lovers hair.

“Love me forever” Chanyeol whispered with a smile.

“Never” Baekhyun said and Chanyeol just laughed before groaning in pain.

“Tell me everything Chanyeol. No more secrets” Baekhyun said breaking the silence that followed a few minutes later.

“You basically now know my biggest darkest secret. Park Sung-jin is my father”

“Why did you run away?” Baekhyun asked.

“I never really got along with the old man and didn't want to be tied down by the mafia. I just wanted some freedom to do my own thing. I made a deal with my father that if he found me before 30 I would take over my responsibilities as leader” he explained.

“Oh okay. That's not so bad. I'm sorry you got found out. It's all good then. I always wondered why you were so good at all you do. Now it all makes sense. Anyway I'm actually glad you're not  a lowlife stripper and heartless assassin”

“Yes now I'm also a ruthless mafia lord” Chanyeol said and Baekhyun laughed.

“But...there's one problem” Chanyeol said with a frown.

“What's that?” Baekhyun asked a bit worried.

“Another part of the deal was that I would marry some guy who was my fiancé specially picked out for me” he explained.

“What? Fiancé?” Baekhyun asked in shock.

“Yes. But dont worry about it. He means nothing to me. I love you and only want to be with you. I won't marry that guy” Chanyeol said hoping Baekhyun wouldn't be crazy mad with him but was shocked when Baekhyun burst into laughter.

“Make up your mind Chanyeol. Do you or do you not want to marry me” Baekhyun said with a smile.

“What?” Chanyeol was more than confused.

“The man who youre meant to marry is me you dimwit” Baekhyun said as he laughed again.

“No way” Chanyeol responded in shock.

The man he had refused to marry was the Byun Baekhyun.

“If I had known it was you I wouldn't have run away in the first place” Chanyeol said.

“It's okay. At least I met you when you were more mature...or close enough” Baekhyun said before kissing Chanyeol.

“My dad must be having a party right now. I fell for the man he had been trying to hook me up with all along” Chanyeol said with a smile.

“Oh and your dad will be back next week to meet you” Baekhyun said.

“Oh hell no”

“Hell yes. And you're going to be there or else you won't even see this ass ever again” Baekhyun said with a smirk as Chanyeol groaned in defeat.

“Yes dear”

“Good boy”

Kris finally got the courage to go and check on Angel after the whole fiasco.

He silently entered the room and watched the man he had loathed since the first day his boss showed an interest in him.

He still didn't understand why Angel had taken a bullet for him.

In their last encounter Angel was ready to slit his throat but now he almost died protecting him.

“Are you just going to stand there and look lost all day or are you going to help me sit up?” Chanyeol said in a low tone.

He was tired and just wanted to get better already. Bed rest was not his thing.

“Oh sorry” Kris said and he helped Angel get comfortable.

“So what brings you to my room?” Angel asked with a smile.

“I just... It's just...why did you save me? I thought you hated me” He finally got the words out.

“I don't hate you Kris. I don't particularly like you but hate is a strong word. Listen… I have seen the way you work hard and protect Baekhyun. He considers you as one of his best men and a brother. You take care of him and so I take care of you. I'm not a heartless bastard. I may be crazy but I'm not heartless” Chanyeol explained.

“Thank you” Kris said with a smile but before more words could be spoken Tao entered the room.

“I should have known dad would leave one of his lackeys to watch over me” Chanyeol said rolling his eyes.

“I'm your bodyguard you ungrateful brat” Tao responded but honestly he was happy to see the other male after all these years.

“Dad? Bodyguard? Does this mean?” Kris asked in shock.

“Yes. Park Sung-jin is my father. Can we get over this now?” Chanyeol said in annoyance.

Kris walked out trying to wrap his mind around the situation and new information he had obtained.

“By the way Kris… My real name is Chanyeol, Park Chanyeol”

So Yeol was running away from Baek to only run back into his arms.

Now that things have worked out perfectly for ChanBaek, what does the future hold for them?
