"AAAHHHHH!!" Screamed Adelaide as she pushed her hand forward, suddenly water sprayed out of her hand and killed the evil demon "what?! I do have powers Ali was right!" "Adelaide are you ok?!" Shouted jace "I'm fine! I'm over here" She shouted from the ground. 'BRING BRING' suddenly Adelaide's phone rang "who's that?" Questioned jace " it's just my two best friends Jessica and Selina, omg I totally forgot it's Selina's birthday I have to go!" "Ok but as soon as your done come back to the institute okay?" "Fine, I'm going now bye"
"Selina I'm so sorry I'm late I was u..um..ummm, doing things" it's ok Adelaide you are here now and that's all that matters" the girls then began to hug each other
Some time later
"I'm so sorry I have to go now, bye guys" said Adelaide "she's been very suspicious today I think we should follow her and see where she is going" said Jess confused. As Adelaide walked back to the institute the two girls followed sneakily behind her "why is she going into an abandoned church?!" Jess whispered to Selina "i don't know but should we go in and ask her?" Asked Selina "ok let's go then" they both then walked into the abandoned church and saw Adelaide alone talking to nobody "Adelaide what are you doing in here talking to nobody?!" Said Selina surprised "Oh no! Guys I have something to tell you" "what is it?" Said Jess worriedly "I'm a shadow killer and I have magic powers and so does my mom and my sister!" "That is insane Adelaide are you drunk?! Because we will take you home!" Said Selina in a shaky voice "no I'm not drunk and I can't go home because it has been burnt down by demons!" Adelaide said annoyedly "c'mon Adelaide let's go!" Said Jess "jace give me the steeli" (the metal winding tube with the crystal on top of it) she then had the steeli in her hand "give me your wrists guys" "u..um..ummm o..kay" they both shakily said as they put their wrists out, Adelaide then began to draw the same drawing on their wrists as the one on her neck "OMG!!!"
