Robin wasn't nervous, she was the daughter of Robin Hood and the Wicked Witch, and she was the Evil Queen's niece, she wasn't nervous. She was shaking with fear! She looked down at the ring in her hand, ring she got from the mines thanks to the dwarfs, it had a beautiful blue diamond and an arrow at each side, courtesy of her aunt Regina.

There was peace in the United Realms, everybody was happy. They were still settling in wherever they decided to live. Regina and young Henry stayed at the Evil Queen's castle, Zelena got back to her old farm in Storybrooke, Henry and Ella found a nice house (like the Charmings') to live with Lucy, and Hook bought an apartment in Storybrooke and accepted the job as deputy, while Emma was at home with baby Hope. Robin and Alice settled in for a small but nice house on the outskirts of Storybrooke, wanting to live in a quiet place.

Robin was alone, Alice was working with Sabine selling beignets, and that gave the archer time and space to plan the upcoming proposal. She wanted it to be perfect, she didn't want to mess up. She almost asked her mother or her cousin Henry for help, but she opted for not saying anything, so it would be a surprise for everyone, after all, the only one who knew was Hook, who gave her his blessing before attacking the black Knights. Robin had been thinking since Regina's coronation (a couple of weeks ago) how to ask the most important question. She spent the whole morning thinking, until she finally came up with an idea.

It was already dark when Alice came back, when the house, she saw a blanket stretched on the grass, and a smiling Robin standing at the doorway. Alice raised her eyebrows.

"Okay, what's going on?" The blonde girl asked, making the young archer smile wider.

"Nothing, I just thought we could have a picnic, like we did back in the Enchanted Forest." Robin told her. Alice shrugged and linked arms with Robin, who led them to the blanket. The brunette put the picnic basket down and pulled out a marmalade sandwich for Alice and some cherries for herself.

"Thanks" Alice accepted the sandwich with s big smile, which warmed Robin.

"You're welcome" Silence fell upon them, while they ate and looked at the sky.

"It's a beautiful night" Alice said awestruck looking at the stars.

"Yeah, it is" Robin nodded not bothering to look up at the sky, her eyes were on Alice's blue ones, and her hand was on her right pocket. Quickly, she let her hand fall to her side as Alice turned to look at her.

"Thank you, Robin, for this, it's a wonderful night" Alice leaned in to kiss her, but Robin placed her hand on the blonde's chest to stop her.

"Actually, this is just the beginning" Robin said as she stood up and held out a hand to Alice. When they were both standing, Robin reached out a hand to caress Alice's cheek.

"Robin, what's going on?" Alice was starting to worry.

"There's something I've wanted to do for a while" Robin confessed as she let go of Alice face and reached for her right pocket again. Alice was about to ask again when she saw the archer drop to her knee holding out a beautiful ring.

"Alice, since we've met, everything has been an adventure, yeah, our meeting was far from romantic, but we bonded thanks to the troll, you helped me realize what being Robin Hood truly means, you made me a better person, and you changed Margot too, the only thing she wanted to do was travel, until she got her mom's calls and met a beautiful stranger, saving her from getting hit by a car, Tilly made her want to stay, and when the curse broke, I realized that you were right, we always know each other, even when we don't, and all I want is ask you a question, would you go on another adventure and marry me?" Robin looked hopefully at Alice's shocked face. After a few seconds, Alice recovered herself and laugh through her tears.

"Of course I'll marry you!"

Robin smiled back as she slid the ring on Alice's finger. When she stood up the archer pulled Alice in for a kiss, both girls savoring the moment.
