It was the day before the big mission the Paladins were going on. You wanted to say goodbye to one of them, not knowing if he would survive. You heard yells and crashes in the training room. You shook your head, immediately knowing who it was. You poke your head into the room, seeing a familiar figure with black and white hair fighting the gladiator.
"Shiro!" You called.
Shiro looked up and smiled, not before yelling, "GLADIATOR OFF."
He walked over to you, his robotic hand dulling back to gray.
"Hello, Y/N. What's up ?" He raised his hand for a fist bump but as always, you declined.
"Just wanted to say to say goodbye before the mission." You say. "I don't know if you'd come back.."
Shiro's eyes widened. "Y/N....I will always come back for you, kitten."
He embraced you, holding you tightly. Your eyes widened as his lips touched yours, full of promises in them.
