Maxs pov

The three wolves left me be after a whole thirty minutes of being harassed and a full on chew toy I trotted over to the log that held my clothes and I shifted back with a few bruises and cuts, i changed into my clothes and cracked my back limping home and who do I see on my porch none other than Jackson I glare at him and walk in leaving the door open for him. He walks in and shuts the door. "Max I can expl-" I interrupted him "explain?..explain!? Oh yeah explain that you just walked off from me being a chew toy okay!" I say getting pissed off more than ever he tries to grab my shoulder but I push his hand away "don't fucking touch me you asshole! You just left me there and didn't help I thought we were friends Jackson!"  He looked shocked and taken back he lowered his hand as I lashes out "just because your a beta now you think you can just leave me!!" His face changed and he said back "do you think I have a fucking choice to be with you or not no I don't! I'm a beta now so that doesn't mean I need to come save your sorry ass every single second just suck it up and deal with it!" I gasp a bit tearing up and I shove him "FUCK YOU JACKSON!! you know what fine I don't care just FUCKING leave go be the happy little beta be the alphas little boy!!" I screamed and then I felt my self falling and a stinging sensation on my cheek as I held it he...he hit me "i-i max I'm sorr-" I stood up and shoved him forward the door and opened "LEAVE JACKSON!! JUST LEAVE" I screamed with a few tears as he walked off and I slammed the door as I slid down the door thinking did I just ruin out friendship what's gonna happen I say holding my knees crying.

Jackson's pov

I started walking back to the the pack house in a rage and I stopped looking at my hands why..why did I hit her I didn't mean too. I fall too my knees and I look at my hands tearing up letting a few tears slide down my face as I wipped my eyes and looked at the old yet important locket around my neck that she gave me when were around twelve.

I walked out of my house running with max we just became friends about two weeks ago who knew we'd be besties. We always met up in the tree house and today we decided go go up to the tree house cause max had a surprise for me. We both climbed the ladder and got inside I sat down o the tiny bench as she climbed in. "Okay jackson! We have a oath!" She takes out a locket my eyes lit up as she put it in my hand and held my hand closed "Now Jackson you have to promise me something" she said seriously and I nodded "Okay now you have to promise me that me and you will be pack mates forever and besties!" She said loudly and smiled and nodded "I promise!" I put it on and we hugged.

I look down still crying and I wiped my eyes and stood up and walked into the pack house. Maybe everything will be okay tomorrow.
