Prologue

Jonathan: tall, brown hair, dark brown eyes.
Dylan: shorter than Jonathan, black hair, green eyes.

Jonathan and Dylan knew each other in sixth year of school. They began to treat each other as rivals. Always competing to win the love of the prettiest girl on school. Krista Lodge was, as you can imagine, the kind of girl who was good in everything. And the one that deserved ONLY the best. (Only she thinks that 😂) Her curly red hair was long and bright. She had pale skin and freckles on his nose and cheeks. And she was also the mayor's daughter. There were many boys (and some girls) interested in her. But Jonathan and Dylan weren't like the others. They didn't gave up. They try every single day. Showing their strength, intelligence, braveness, etc. To impress her. They always finish in a tied. One day they were invited to one of the many parties Krista organized. That night would be their last competition. It would be easy, she would, like always, tell them what she want them to do and they, as always, would obey. The cicle that never ends. Everyone from the little high school was there. They were just watching though. Krista, Dylan and Jonathan were doing everything. She asked the two boys how many things they knew about her. Surprisingly, they knew a lot about her... That fact freak everyone out. They continue with that sick game until Krista stopped them. "I made my decision" she said. The petite looked at both. And then continue saying. "One of you succeed in wining my heart. For the other one, well I appreciate the effort. Dylan, better chance next time. I chose you Jonathan" the winner celebrate his victory kissing his prize. Dylan just accepted his situation. And in some kind of way, he was free of doing whatever he wanted. After all, he didn't do all that for Krista. He did it for Jonathan, who after all the rivalry finished, accept to become Dylan's friend. Their friendship became stronger everyday. They became best friends even knowing Krista wasn't agree with that.
