Your P.O.V.

I sat up slowly as I heard my phone ring. I looked at the time. It was 6:30 in the morning, giving me about 15 minutes to get ready before I had to meet up with Peter to walk to school.

"Shit." I mumbled under my breath. I picked out an outfit quickly and brushed out my hair, putting some mascara on. I've never needed much makeup, considering I was the daughter of the 'Sexiest Man in New York', as magazines described him. I rolled my eyes at the thought and slipped on my shoes. I looked at my high-tech watch that I made when I was four. 6:40.

I brushed my teeth and ran over to our elevator, grabbing my book bag from next to it, before going down.

"Friday, take me to the lobby." I said.

"Ok, Y/n." The realistic, yet slight computer-like voice replied. I smiled as Back in Black by AC/DC played as I went down, as substitute for boring elevator music. When I finally got down to the lobby, I ran to the front door, where Peter stood. He smiled up at me as I ran outside, putting his phone in his pocket.

"Right on time. Literally." He chuckled, in which I responded with a giggle. "I thought that you forgot about me."

"I could never forget about you, Parker. I just slept in." I told him, ruffling his hair. He sighs and fixes it immediately. I roll my eyes playfully and begin to walk. Peter ran up to me.

"Whatever, kid." He said.

"I'm younger than you by one month, Parker. One. Month." I told him, punching his shoulder lightly.

"I'm still older." He said in a sing-song voice.

"Whatever, Parker." I responded.

—After school 'cause duck that—

I walked down the street alone to my house. Peter usually walks me home, but he said that he was busy today. I put my earbuds in and listened to Fall Out Boy.

"We're going down, down, in an earlier round. And sugar, we're goin' down swingin'." I sang along quietly. "I'll be your number one with a bullet. Loaded god complex, cock it and pull it." I sang some more as I approached my father's building. I opened the glass doors and went to the elevator, taking my earbuds out. When I step out of the elevator, I'm shocked to see Peter and my dad standing there talking.

"Yeah, kid, you can keep the suit and everything." My dad said to Peter.

"Ahem." I said, grabbing both their attentions. "What's going on?"

"Oh, um, Peter here got an internship." My dad said, patting Peter's shoulder. Peter flinched at the sudden contact. I looked suspiciously at both of them.

"So That has what to do with a suit?" I asked them. They looked at each other, compromising on who should speak, but only through looks.

"Um, your dad said that I could have a tux, and I was wondering if I could keep the tux." Peter said. I nodded slowly.

"Ok, but why didn't you just walk with me?" I asked him slowly. He looked to my dad and shrugged. "Well, it'll be nice seeing someone I actually enjoy being around in the building more often." I smiled at my dad and he smiled back, until he realized what I had just said. I laugh and walk to my room, giving Peter a pat on the shoulder as I walked by him. When I get to my room, I lean my head against the door to try and hear anything else.

"That was close." Peter said.

"Yeah, we can't have her finding out that you're an Avenger." My dad said. I froze in shock. Peter was an Avenger? And he didn't tell me or Ned? I thought that we were his best friends. I sat down on my bed and thought for a moment. That would explain the suddenly muscular arms he had. But what powers did he have? Before I could think of an answer to all this, I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in!" I said loudly. The door clicked open and Peter walked in. I smiled at him and he smiled back. "So, you work here now?"

"Y-Yeah, I guess so." He said, sitting next to me on my bed.

"So, now we get to hang out even more. It's gonna be awesome." I said, acting as if I didn't know the truth. "Do you get to meet the Avengers?"

"I-um, m-maybe." He stuttered out.

"They're pretty awesome. Who's your favorite?" I asked him. He shrugged and was visibly sweating. "And have you seen Spider-Man? He's effing awesome!"

"Y-Yeah. I g-guess He i-is." He said.

"I haven't met him yet." I said. "I want to, though."

"Yeah, I heard he's pretty awesome." Peter said. I laid my head down on his lap, feeling tired.

"Thank god it's Friday. I'm so tired." I told him. When I looked up at him, he was bright red. "What's wrong?"

"Oh, n-nothing. Me too." He said.

"Lay down with me, then." I told him. He hesitated at first, but eventually laid down next to me. "Have you talked to Liz since she moved away?"

"No, I feel like it would be too awkward. She hates me now, remember?" He said. "Besides, I like someone else."

"Who?" I asked.

"You probably wouldn't know her. She is really beautiful, though. She has such beautiful eyes, and her hair is just-I don't know. There's just something that makes her perfect." He said. I nodded, but felt something in my gut. Like a knot in my stomach, but also felt slightly angry, and slightly sad. Was this jealousy? Was I jealous?

"Cool. I like someone too, I guess. I really don't know." I told him, wondering if he'd figure it out. He looked over to me and stared at me with confusion plastered all over his face.

"What's he like?" He asked.

"Well, he's dorky, also has beautiful eyes, and his hair is perfect. I just get this weird feeling when I'm around him, and when he talks about other girls, I get jealous, so, yeah, I guess I do like him." I said. Peter looked slightly hurt. Weird. "Anyway, can we please just take a nap. All this lovey dovey crap is making me tired."

"Yeah, sure." He said, turning his back to me. I pulled my blanket over both of us. He turned to face me and I snuggled up close to him, a blush creeping up on my face. He wrapped his arm around me, and I loved the warmth. A few minutes later, I heard light snores coming from next to me. I smiled and fell asleep myself.
