Time, it has never really been a friend of mine. Time is everything, everything I wish it wasn't. It seems I never have enough time, long forgotten words left unspoken they hung in the wind by a thread on that sunny, windy spring, in the garden of roses where you and I parted and went our separate ways. Looking out from my window watching the ground being covered in a protective blanket of white freshly fallen snow years and years later. I began to remember, remember the time we meet, the time we laughed as we ran away from my father, all our firsts, the Times we fought for our love in wars and royal halls, the Times In which I begged you not to go and to stay with me, the Times we had to part but came back to one another in the end. We were young, in love with the ideas of love, we were insane, risked it all to be with one another, defying laws, setting world's on fire, even going as far as killing the king, what we wouldn't have done for one another. But all good things had to come to an end at some point. and ours did, it burned brightly as it was engulfed in flames of our own jealousy and hatred. Our lust for one another had become too great, we had become completely mad, sitting tall on our thrones, piled high with the bodies of those who defied us, adorned lies and desire, our perfect world came crashing down in a blink of an eye. We fought for 13 days and nights until we could not fight any longer. We realized too late that our love would not last forever as we hoped it would. In the end, we faced one another in a form befitting a king and queen. No arguments, no hated words, no tears, nothing. Just a silent agreement of peace that leads to our parting. Even if our story didn't have a happy ending it still deserves to be told.
