~*~ A Week Prior ~*~

Dalton’s POV

“So where are we actually staying? You have found somewhere for us right?” Cole frowned.

“Course I have. My cousin lives in Essex which is just outside of London and she was more than happy to let us stay with her,” I explained.

He frowned again and so did the other three. I’m sure they all had the same idea that I was making up my cousin and hadn’t actually come up with a place where we’d stay.

“What’s this cousin’s name?” Gabe questioned quizzically.

“Ashley.”

~*~ Present Time ~*~

Ashley’s POV

I had been sat in the airport for the last hour as there were delays on their flight meaning I had to wait. I was sat on the floor with the cardboard with his name on above my head leant on the wall. At this point I was board and was fiddling with my glasses moving them up and down.

There were a lot of people here as well waiting for family and friends as well but most of them were either in the midst of being in a conversation with someone they were here with or with a stranger who they didn’t particularly know.

Seen as I looked a bit young for my age and I was sat on the floor, I did gain a few quizzical looks. Although by the way I was dressed I didn’t look it by that but it could be easily taken that I was a homeless teen camping out rather casually in an airport.

After about ten more minutes people began to hug new people who had turned up. I was guessing the people had got off of the flight and were now making their way here, so my cousin and his friends should be here soon.

Even though I knew they’d be here soon, I couldn’t be bothered to stand up, so I was happy just sat on the floor until they were actually here.

Most people who were once crowded around had now left with whoever they were waiting for that had come from LA. Now in the open area there was just me and two other people at the other side of the room.

The sudden noise of people came suddenly which was rather shocking as unless the people across the room were waiting for over half of the plane, I had no idea why there was so much noise.  The noise became more intense as five men came into view. I couldn’t quite classify them as men as they looked about my age maybe a bit older than me.

They were led by a blond who was looking around the room. When he saw me, he grinned before walking towards me with the other four in tow.

As he was about two foot away from me he stopped smiling with the other four stood behind him. I looked up at him as he grinned. I didn’t recognise him but he was adamant in standing there and staring at me.

“Can I help you?” I frowned.

“Urgh yeah,” He chuckled, “You are Ashley McConoughey right?”

“Yeah,” I frowned still rather confused, “Oh shit.”

I hastily stumbled to stand up falling into him and dropping my glasses. We both went to bend down for them but ended up colliding but I picked them up and put them back on as I stood back up rubbing my head.

“Well doesn’t this remind you of when we said goodbye last time,” I sighed.

Dalton and I hadn’t seen each other for nearly eleven years and that get together didn’t end well. We were at the airport ready to go home and our Mother’s decided we should say goodbye in a nice way by hugging each other. So he hugged me but pushed me at the same time meaning I tripped backwards over a suitcase landing on my wrist breaking it.
