Ashley’s POV

We had just pulled up to my block of flats and I was ready to show them the small flat I called home.

“Okay, so I warned you about Cassie, so even if you really want to get laid, first off this apartment will be way too crowded for that unless you’re into a crowd, and secondly she’ll probably give you a disease and have another guy in bed before you get out of it. Don’t get me wrong I love her, but she’s like a gynaecologist’s worst nightmare,” I chuckled, “Follow me to floor seven, none of you are asthmatic or have problems with breathing right?”

They all rolled their eyes saying no to my question. I nodded opening up the front door of the building before making my way up the near hundred stairs until I reached my front door. I let out a huge sigh putting my hands on my knees. Even though I had walked up and down these stairs, it was about the only exercise I did so I generally ended up collapsing at the end of each trip.

“We need a lift,” I panted grabbing my key and putting it in the door as I caught my breath.

Once my breathing was back to normal I walked into my flat stopping within seconds of one of them closing the door.

“Cassidy, here now,” I called knowing she’d be in her room as her car was out front.

I heard her fumbling until she stumbled into the hallway. Her eyes lit up as she saw the five behind me.

“Cassie, this is my cousin and his friends but I wouldn’t hit on them. You wouldn’t get far without being crept out. You see ‘he’ has a fish fetish,“ I stated pointing at Cole, “He is into bestiality,” I pointed at Dana, “He is into cross dressers,” I said pointing to Will, “He is a cross dresser and will steal your clothes,” I smiled pointing to Dalton, “And he has a thing for carpet and can only get off if he’s touching carpet, so I’d keep away from these creeps.”

 With that I let out a chuckled gesturing the five boys towards the living room whilst Cassidy obviously believed me and made her way towards her room again. Once I got them all into the living room I laughed at their faces that were still shocked and disgusted.

“Is your cousin completely insane?” Gabe questioned.

“No I’m not insane, passive aggressive and slightly hyperactive I am. And hey I just got your crazy stalker off of your back before she got on it. And yes to answer the follow up question, I have watched your Disney video hence where I got the ideas from; I haven’t just had a few weird boyfriends. Well I have but that’s not the point,” I smirked.

“You watch our videos?” Dalton questioned.

“How else was I supposed to figure out who my cousin was? Granted I didn’t recognise you at the airport. Anyway I started rambling but I thought I’d ask who wants to sleep where so I can start blowing up the mattresses so I can put them somewhere so the house isn’t full to the brim just I need someone to run to the shop for me. I forgot to buy food and drinks, so we have water and ice cream,” I sighed, “Dalton take a couple of your friends to the shop and buy some food please. I have a list but I forgot to go. “

Dalton rolled his eyes obviously knowing he’d be the one to be forced to do something for me mainly because he was the only one I knew well enough to give him the keys to my sister car. If I had my car even Dalton wouldn’t get the keys. Beth only got them because she begged me and promised that if she destroyed it I could keep her car and she’d buy me a new car as well.

“I don’t know the way to the shop,” He stated.

“Sat Nav,” I said in a ‘duh’ voice throwing him the keys, “get in the car and there is a sat nav on the dashboard press the on button then click number one and it’ll direct you there. Here is the list and the money,” I said pulling them out of my pocket, “Do not get away from this list otherwise I will destroy any connections with any girls you meet here. Just take someone with you and phone me if you get confused. Drive on the left hand side okay.”

I smiled not allowing him to have a choice in the matter. He rolled his eyes telling Dana and Will (I think) that that they had to go with him. God knows why he chose them two but he did so they went together.

“Hello the two un-loved friends, you are Gabe and Cole, right? I’m doing my best to learn your names,” I smiled.

“Yes we’re Gabe and Cole. It’s not like any of us look similar, so that won’t confuse you,” I think Gabe said.

“True, but you only have my name to remember so that’s easier. I’ll give you two a little apartment tour so when your friends come home you can sort them out as I have a life and a job. Okay maybe I don’t have one of them and the other one I have three of but nevertheless I don’t want to be guiding you guys around my apartment for the next three months,” I shrugged.

“You have three jobs?” Cole asked.

I shrugged. It wasn’t that bad I guessed they were all enjoyable in one way or another.

“Yep, waitress, actress and dancer. How fun does that sound?” I joked, “Anyway, this is the living room, that door leads to Cassie’s room, that one to the kitchen, that one to the bathroom, and that one to my room. Now you two lovely lads are going to help me with the blow up mattresses, as I have the upper arm strength of a two year old.”

The pair chuckled at me as I opened my bedroom door. I know it may be slightly shocking for a seventeen year old to have a Disney themed bedroom, but that was how I liked it.

“How old are you?” One laughed.

“Grow up. I like Disney, its happiness wrapped up in a bow. Honestly when you find out about where I work, you’ll realise this is the normal part of me. I am a neurotic sociopath with the mentality of a three year old, my Disney obsession is normal. Anyway one of you can blow this one up and the other this one,” I stated handing each one a box and a pump before sitting on my bed, “And I’ll supervise.”

“No, you’re helping me,” Gabe smirked, “Cole you blow the one up in here and we’ll do the one in the living room.”

Cole rolled his eyes with a chuckled before Gabe dragged me back into the living room.

It took us a while but we finally blew up the single air mattress before Cole appeared in the living room in a different outfit.

“What are you wearing?” Gabe and I questioned at the same time.

“Well I found this on the floor in Ashley’s room,” He stated.

He was in a purple waistcoat and beige baggy trousers.

“Is that an Aladdin costume, I didn’t think any men live here, are you really the one with a fetish?” Gabe laughed.

“No. It is an Aladdin costume, but it’s mine. I’ll explain why I have that when the other three get back, although you’ll kind of find out tomorrow when you come to work with me. Well one of my jobs, the other two will be a mystery to you,” I smiled, “Anyway if you look in my wardrobe there is hundreds of costumes there male and female all of which I have worn for a real purpose rather than strutting around my apartment being Aladdin.”

Before I even finished my sentence the pair made their way to my room and I could hear them in my wardrobe.

I laughed following them and saw them both dressing up.

“Why do you have all this?” Cole questioned putting on a pair of ears.

“I said I’d explain later. But what I’ll tell you now is I have to wear some of these for part of two of my jobs and I am considered a professional make-up artist, as I need that aspect too for my costumes. I can show you if you like, I’m sure you’d both look pretty with some of my makeup on,” I chuckled.

“I’m not putting lipstick and mascara on,” Gabe frowned.

“Not like glitz and glamour makeup like costume makeup. I spend so much time at the theatre, I was taught how to do costume make up. Like I don’t even wear makeup unless it’s needed for my job,” I shrugged.

“You a rather intriguing Ashley,” Cole chuckled.

We sat in my bedroom talking for a little while they allowed me to do their makeup. It probably wasn’t my best work, but it looked good and slightly random.  

At least I was getting to know two of my cousin’s friends, maybe not in the best way but it was nice to talk to people who I didn’t work with.
