As Anastasia, Alexandria and Allera packed their armor, weapons, and essentials to travel to the Ville of Artemis, tension hung in the air. Anastasia's sisters couldn't understand how she had a soulmate and they did not.

They had all fallen in love once.

But when your destiny is determined for you, and fate has other ideas, your love can be taken from you. Just like that, the boy you spent all your time with and gave all your heart to, finds his soulmate. And you're left alone, forced to look fate in the eye once more.

Everyone envied the Luna Warriors; but sometimes, they just wanted to be normal, too.

So now that Anastasia got to be more normal, even when she was more special than her sisters, they were angry. Not with Anastasia, or Andreas; but with fate.

"Are you guys ready?" Anastasia asked her sisters with a forced smile, trying to work past the tension between them.

"Yeah," Allera said quietly, standing up with her pack full of weapons. Alexandria went to her younger sister and grabbed the pack for her, motioning for her to grab their armor.

"Ana, you can go tell him we're about done here," Alex told her younger sister, nodding for her to go on. Alexandria didn't smile much, but Anastasia could still tell she was upset.

"Look, guys, I didn't mean for--"

But Alex cut her sister off, shaking her head. "Just go, Ana."

Anastasia sighed, turning before heading out of the armory. Her head was down, and she couldn't see that one of Andreas' warriors was in front of her as she turned the corner. She bumped into him, causing him to stumble backwards.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Ana muttered, reaching down to pick up the pile of firewood he had dropped. "I wasn't paying attention at all."

"Do not apologize," the warrior said huskily, flashing a blinding smile before taking the wood from Anastasia. "I'm sure you have plenty of other things to worry about, we're all in a daze sometimes."

Ana smiled, reaching out her hand to shake the warrior's. "I'm Anastasia."

The warrior took her hand, kissing the back of it. "I'm Leon."

Anastasia blushed, looking away from Leon, only to see Andreas quickly approaching. She pulled her hand away from the man's, holding it at her side while her face flushed completely.

Leon chuckled, looking behind him to see his Chief. He quickly regained himself before bowing his head slightly, his hands behind his back.

"Chief," Leon greeted with a smile.

"Leon, don't you have somewhere else to be?" Andreas asked with his eyes narrowed, tilting his head at the warrior.

"Yes, sir," Leon said with a nod. He turned to Anastasia and winked, before saying, "Until we meet again, Anastasia."

Anastasia looked down, clearing her throat and shifting her weight from her toes to her heels.

"So, uh, we're all ready to go," Ana told Andreas, looking up to him with a small smile. "I was sent to tell you."

Andreas looked at Anastasia with a warm smile, but he could sense the confusion and frustration that was rushing through her mind.

"What's wrong, Ana?" He asked her, and she hung her head before sighing and straightening up once more.

"My sisters are upset, but I'm sure they'll get over it," she stated matter-of-factly.

"Well, what are they mad about?" Andreas asked, wrapping his arm around Anastasia's shoulders before leading them towards the armory.
