Chapter 4: Set Up

"Okay guys, we have to figure out a way to set them up," Coups said to the performance and vocal team leaders.

"Why did you ask us for help? We're not exactly romance experts," Woozi questioned.

"We're not?!" Hoshi sarcastically asked. "I thought I was soooo romantic," he said as he grumpily leaned onto Woozi.

"You gave me coupons for chicken for our one month anniversary," Woozi mocked and pushed him away.

"Hey you loved it!" Hoshi retaliated.

"Calm down, lovebirds, let's get back on track," Coups said while laughing.

"How would we set them up anyway? I mean, without looking suspicious," Hoshi asked.

"Wait why are we setting them up? I thought they were already dating," Woozi said in a confused voice.

"No, they're not dating, trust me, Vernon would have told me by now," Coups confidently exclaimed.

"So what's your plan, sir leader?" Woozi asked sarcastically.

"We have to get them alone in a romantic setting somehow, but I don't know how," Coups said as Woozi and Hoshi sighed.

"Wait, all the members are doing a V live without us? How dare they," Seungkwan complained.

"Really? That's weird. Maybe you and I should do one together then, since we missed out on this one," Vernon proposed with a grin on his face.

"That's a great idea!" Seungkwan said, smiling at the younger boy.

"Hi... Seungkwan"

"Vernon"

"You're my..."

"Twenty~"

"Guess where we are," Seungkwan said while Vernon was still giggling and eating his ice cream.

They continued their V live for 15 minutes before deciding to leave once Seungkwan was embarrassed by the chocolate ice cream on his face.

"They totally look like they're on a date," Hoshi said enthusiastically.

"They do, but let's hope it leads to something more. I mean, they confessed their love for each other about ten times in that live," Coups said, Woozi and Hoshi nodding in agreement.

"Today was so fun," Vernon said as the two entered their shared hotel room.

"Of course it was, everything is fun if it's with you," Seungkwan replied and Vernon blushed.

"Yeah haha...it almost felt like a date," Vernon said nervously.

"Do you mean that?" Seungkwan asked him in a quiet voice.

"Yeah, actually I do, Boo," Vernon said and Seungkwan blushed.

Seungkwan used all the nerves in his body as he walked over to the other man and grabbed his hands.

"Hansol... I think it's time I tell you that I've had a crush on you since the first time we met."

Vernon started to tear up as he heard those words and pulled Seungkwan in for a hug.

"Me too, I've always loved you." Vernon seemed just as shocked by his own words as Seungkwan did.

"S-so does this mean you want to be boyfriends?" Seungkwan asked him, hiding his face in Vernon's chest.

"Obviously! I mean, if you want to," Vernon said cutely.

"Of course, you idiot!" Seungkwan said as he leaned up to give Vernon a quick peck.

Vernon could have sworn he was dreaming, but it was actually a dream come true.

"Hyung, we have something to tell you," Seungkwan said to his leader.

Coups seemed far too excited to hear what his ship had to announce to him.

"We... are dating," Vernon said nervously, holding his boyfriend's hand.

"YES AHAHA! JIHOON, SOONYOUNG, GET IN HERE NOW!" Coups screamed with the two confused boys staring at him.

"DID IT FINALLY HAPPEN?" Soonhoon screamed in unison.

"Were you all betting on this or something?" Vernon asked the leader line.

"Yes, in fact we've been trying to set you guys up!" Woozi said.

"Well how did it happen? We have to know," Hoshi said.

"Well after we did that V live, we ended up confessing our love to each other after agreeing it felt like a date," Vernon answered his curious hyungs.

"Wait are you serious?" Coups asked.

"We did a live without you two on purpose in hopes that you would do a live together," Hoshi admitted.

"I never thought it would actually amount to anything, I thought you two were too stupid to realize your feelings," Woozi added.

The new couple just stood there in shock as the leaders ran to hug them and congratulate them.

"Let's tell the others," Coups said. "Everyone I have some great news!"

Vernon and Seungkwan looked at each other and held their hands tighter as they laughed at their members' excitement.

"I'm glad they took it well," Vernon laughed.

"Who knew they shipped us so much," Seungkwan said to his boyfriend.

They leaned in for a kiss and heard all the members scream like fanboys.
