There is only one way out of lies,
And it's a difficult one.

It hurts,
And people don't understand why you do it.
They laugh and call you a fool,
But remember to smile when they do.

Because you know the truth.

That they are like birds that learned to love their own cages.

Not because it' s great in there,
But because they were whipped for trying to leave.

And it hurt.

But one day it will make all the difference,
When you overcome that pain.
Cause when you leave that cage,
The whipping stops.

You see,
That's another thing.
The people who put you in that cage.
Who whipped you bloody,
And dug out your soul.

They love their own cage.
Because in all of their attempts to keep you in there,
They decieved themselves into thinking it's safe in there.

So fly out of that cage door.

And when you can see once again,
And the light that used to burn you,
Washes your vision from the dark.

Then and only then,
Will you be free.
From the lies.
