(Time lapse to February 1st.)

The boys were leaving for tour in a week. I don’t think they’ll have enough space for two more people (Toni and I), so I was planning on just staying here at Jaime’s until they got back. I wasn’t sure how long the tour was going to be, but I knew they were going all over the country, which could take a while…

Besides, I could finally catch up with Kellin and the rest of his band. I haven’t talked to him in a month and that’s not healthy for us. For all I know, he could be dead. Okay, that’s an overreaction. But still. You get the point.

[Quick A/N before I continue: if you didn’t already know, I switched her brother to Kellin from Justin, because that’s how I had planned everything, and I felt really weird for having Justin as her brother. So, yeah, I changed it.]

[Also, from now on, Tony will be either ‘Tone’ or ‘Turtle’ to avoid confusion with him and Toni.]

I was sitting across from Vic on the living room floor, intensely staring into his eyes. As you can probably tell, we’re having a staring contest. First to blink loses. I’ve always been great at staring contests. I used to have them in elementary school with my few friends (like, two or three) and I think I did them too much, because now, sometimes I don’t blink for a good five minutes and I don’t even notice.

Vic seemed to be having difficulty. His eyes kept darting around so he wouldn’t feel like blinking, but I could tell any second he was going to break. I folded my hands together and rested my chin on them, smiling at him. He narrowed his eyes a little before he finally blinked.

“Fuck!” He yelled in frustration. We’ve been having staring contests all day while the others are out doing whatever the fuck they’re doing. He just won’t give up. Vic’s determined to win at least once to rub it in my face, but it won’t happen. I won’t let it happen. “Do you ever blink?!”

“Sometimes,” I giggled, playing with the ends of my hair. He huffed and flopped back onto the floor, his arms and legs sprawled out. “I’m gonna’ go get a drink do you want anything?” I asked him as I stood up, headed for the kitchen. He told me he wanted a beer as I disappeared into the next room.

I grabbed a beer and a bottle of water from the fridge. When I turned around, my eyes widened. Toni and Tone were at the back door, and through the glass, I could see them… kissing. That’s when everything started to make sense. Toni said her boyfriend lived here in San Diego, and she and Tone have been really close…

I ran back into the living room and handed Vic his beer as the two T’s came into the house. “Vic, I think Tone and Toni are together!” I whisper-yelled. He gave me an are you shitting me look, and I just grinned. They came into the living room as the two of us popped our drinks open.

Vic and I smirked at them as we took sips of our drinks. “What?” Tone asked automatically, sitting on the couch. Toni instantly sat next to him. “Guys, seriously, what is it? You didn’t trash my room, did you…?”
