Six Years Later

Lieutenant Olivia Cragen walked into her dad's house, happy to finally be out of the wretched hospital. However, a nagging feeling told her that something's missing. William Lewis tried to break her spirit, and he may have won. She saw him asleep on the couch and sat beside him, her head falling on his shoulder. His arms instantly went around her as he awoke from his midday nap. "I missed you dad," she said, her voice betraying her deep exhaustion. I felt like something was missing."

"Did you find it," Donald Cragen inquired, kissing her forehead. She looked up at him, her drooping eyes twinkling brightly as she replied. "Yes, home. I am finally home." He reached his hand to brush a stray strand of hair from her face as he started to sing. "If you forget the way to go and lose where you came from. If no one is standing beside you, be still and know I am. Be still and know that I'm with you. Be still and know I am."
