"Anyone there?" Yellow yells cupping his hands around his mouth to amplify his voice.
"Quiet down you'll attract more government," Indigo says taking out her headphones. Yellow and Orange just stared at her wide-eyed. "It died okay! Stop looking at me" Yellow put his hands up in surrender and kept looking. Orange still stared at Indigo with no intention to stop. Indigo just rolled her eyes and looked up at the sky.
"It's getting pretty dark" Yellow stated. "We should probably find someplace to sleep" the two girls nodded in agreement.
They started heading deeper into the great wood not knowing which direction they were going. The night sky was beginning to come out and they still hadn't found anything. But then the most fortunate thing happened. They found a clearing, in the middle of nowhere. This is how it went.
"Over here, guys!" Orange yelled in a frail voice. Yellow did a little victory dance and Indigo just rolled her eyes.
"I found it I found it" Yellow began to chant as he walked toward it.
"YOU DIDN'T FIND IT ORANGE DID YOU SON OF A-"
"Language," Yellow said looking back and smiling.
"Fine fine" Indigo huffed putting her hands up in surrender. Yellow turned around and walked up to Orange. He patted her on the head and she blushed.
"Get a room," Indigo said rolling her eyes and turning around. "If you want I can give you two a minute" Indigo smirked. Yellow just laughed and muttered nonsense.
Orange sprang away from Yellow blushing a lot harder than before. I didn't know how that was even possible, buts the humans say "expect the unexpected" I think that's it. Yellow laughed again and skipped toward the clearing like a seven-year-old girl. Humming as he did it. Orange and Indigo followed him.
When they got to the clearing they all stopped in their tracks. When they looked up the saw the beautiful night sky. On the other side of the clearing, there was a gigantic strawberry bush. Orange suddenly screamed running towards the strawberries. She would do anything for strawberries. If you think of something crazy to get strawberries she has done it or will do it.
"Wait!" Yellow yelled running in the direction Orange went. Indigo mumbled something under her breath and followed them. I believe it was how she lived with such incompetent people but who knows? Except me of course. She took her sweet time walking over, she didn't like them much. Or people in general.
When they all got there they stared in awe. Someone obviously cared for the bush. Orange and Yellow just dug in while Indigo sat on the ground and watched them stuff their faces. After that was over they all were soon fast asleep. You could hear the crickets and small animals scurrying. Orange thought it was quite peaceful, Indigo surprisingly did too.
After a few hours, Yellow woke up to the sound of footsteps. He was also a light sleeper. He sleeps through video games and snoring. If only Blue and Red had that ability.
Yellow got up alert, ready to fight anything that came to disturb his family. Yes, he thought of them as a family how sweet I know.
Yellow slowly inched towards the noises. Was that a squirrel? Yellow thought. His eyes adjusted to the darkness and saw a figure. He thought it was a girl but he wasn't so sure. He saw her go up to a tree and lay down. She was obviously going to sleep. Yellow sighed in relief and went across the clearing to investigate. When he got to the girl he saw that she was absolutely beautiful. It was dark but he was pretty sure her hair was violet. He walked around the sleeping girl. Wow, she fell asleep quickly he thought crouching down. He thought he saw something so he looked a bit closer. He was right earlier. It was a squirrel. He sprinted back to Orange and Indigo, fully awake. He didn't need a lot of sleep, unlike some people. He shook both of them until they stirred.
"Why did you wake us up?" Orange yawned rubbing her eyes. Aw how cute. Indigo groaned and tried to go back to sleep but Yellow wouldn't let her.
"I found someone" He whispered. The girl's eyes when wide.
"I hope it's not the old hag," Indigo said under her breath. Yellow just shook his head and remembered they couldn't really see him.
"No, it's not, follow me" He got up and waves for them to follow. Orange and Indigo struggled to stand. And when they finally did they got dizzy and had to stand there for a minute. Yellow started to walk back towards the mystery girl. Orange and Indigo started to run when they saw the figure on the ground sleeping.
"She's really pretty," Orange said looking down at the girl. Indigo squatted low to the ground and didn't say anything. None of them were going to get sleep anytime soon so they just stayed up and talked.
Then the sun began to rise. At that moment they all thought the same exact thing.
Beautiful.
"It's so pretty!" Orange yells and got shushed. She quickly put her hand over her mouth looking at the sleeping girl. She started to stir and they all crowded around her. Then something weird happened. When she opened her sleepy eyes and looked at them. She started to cry.
