Riko Saikawa x Kanna (Kobayashi's Dragon Maid)

New student new opportunities

The new girl looked frightened to have the class's attention, however, she is very cute. Kanna may have a run for her money, I sigh at the thought of it. My heart hurts to know that our love may not be apparent, like it was some sick game Kanna played on me.

"Take a seat next to Saikawa." The teacher points to the seat next to mine, snapping me out of my train of thought. My heart drops to my stomach, I totally spaced her name too! "Huh-Hey! I'm Saikawa, don't worry I don't bite or anything..." I laugh nervously as to how this girl will behave. Though, all she did was smile and blush "Hey... You probably already know my last name but my first name is Miza..." Miza's gaze drifts to the desk "It's a pleasure to meet you, Saikawa-chan." Her smile was so cute that I could have fan girled over it but I managed to keep it in. "When lunch comes around, would you like to join my friend Kanna and I? If so, meet us on top of the school roof with your lunch." The girl only nodded and blushed. "I'd love to!" She sits down and class begins.

LUNCH TIME

"Saikawa, aren't we going to the cafeteria?" Kanna tugs on my sleeve "Not today Kanna, we are going to eat on the roof." "But why?" I sigh and keep walking up the stairs "I've meet someone new, she's super cute and I like her. So I've made plans to have lunch together with her." I could feel Kanna's gaze, if her eyes could burn things my head would be on fire by now.

We reach the top and Miza was looking down at the cherry blossoms in front of the school's gate. "Hey Miza, sorry we took so long!" I walk over to her "Saikawa... Aren't they beautiful?" I turn my gaze to the cherry blossoms. Their pastel pink petals seemed to shine in the hot sun, the tree was very beautiful. It attached butterflies to it, letting them flutter around with their delicate and frail winged body.

Our hands were nearly holding each other's, her hand was under mine. They were as soft as could be.... "Saikawa-chan, thank you for bringing me up here and inviting me to eat with you." Miza blushed "It's really not an issue. I'm happy you agreed to join us." All three of us eat together and later we all depart to go to our classes.
