Riko Saikawa x Kanna (Kobayashi's Dragon Maid)

 We were walking past the playground, there's so many memories there. Like the time where I challenged those group of bullies, man I am such an idiot. It's crazy how fast the years go by... One day I'll be on my death bed, though I'll die before Kanna does...

I feel that one day we won't be best friends... We all grow up one day and begin to like different things... "Riko, is something troubling you?" I blush "No, nothing out of the ordinary..." I chuckle even if it seemed forced. Suddenly I feel her hand grip mine "Huh?!" my face was as red as a tomato "Don't worry... I'll be here for you." "T-Thank you, K... Kanna." we continue down the side walk.

"Hey Riko do you know what the homework was for tonight?" "It was a math hand out." "Oh... I finished that already." "You always do." I laugh. "When we're older I'll marry you Riko." my tomato face returns once more, "O-okay..." we arrived at Kanna's apartment. 

I begin to climb the stairs up, luckily it wasn't raining, so I had no problem. Of course Kanna was right behind me, once at the top or hallway I waited for Kanna to lead. "Why don't you lead Kanna? You are a fearless dragon." I smile and Kanna nods and walks ahead. "I will protect you!" she begins to march which makes me giggle.

Kanna then opens the door, "Welcome home, Kanna! It's nice to see you, Riko!" Tohru smiles. I wish I had what Kobayashi and Tohru have, they seem happy, while I am suffering I the unknown. Kanna may say the things she does now but who knows what might happen next.

But for now I'll enjoy Tohru's cooking and being with Kanna. Turning around I see Kanna holding something behind her back, "W-what's that behind y-your back?" I point out "Something I made for you." Kanna pulls out what looks like some kind of protection charm but with a heart.

"R-REALLY!?" I nearly cry while hugging Kanna. "Thank you!" Kanna smiles up at me, which of course makes me blush every time.
